 Waking up each morning, staring at the screen, The world outside is crazy, it's never what it seems. Behind the pretty faces, there’s a darkness that we feel, The puppets of the system pulling strings, it’s unreal. They preach about compassion while they hide behind their lies, Promising us healing, but it’s fear that they disguise. The government is watching, with an eye on every move, While they keep us huddled, waiting for their next groove. [Chorus] Oh, they’re the zombies in our lives, Feeding off our fear and pain, They profit from our suffering, In this never-ending game. But we’re waking up, we’re rising high, Breaking free from their deceit, And as we gather round, you’ll hear our cry, We won’t be their defeat.

I wrote this song of encouragement to help those of us who struggle:Life’s storms are raging, I’m struggling every day, Nothing’s working right, I feel so far away. Deep in this ditch, I find despair my friend, So tired of fighting, I just want it to end. Joy is a memory, peace, a distant dream, Hanging on a thread, or so it seems. Lord, I’m searching for a glimmer of light, In this endless darkness that consumes my night. 

I wrote this song because I wanted to celebrate my favorite time of the year.I’m just an Autumn soul, feeling so free, With the coolness of the air, it’s where I want to be. The roads are turning colorful, a breathtaking sight, As the leaves dance around in the warm, golden light. Crisp autumn breezes whisper through the trees, A symphony of colors carried on the breeze. I lift my hands to heaven, praising God above, For this special season, it’s wrapped in warmth and love. 

I wrote this song as a rendition of Psalm 86:12. The first part of the song goes: I will sing to the Lord with my life each day, Lift my voice in the morning, find my way. A melody rising, as the sun breaks free, Singing praises to the One who’s always with me. I’ll sing a new song, from the depths of my soul, With joy in my heart, I’ll let His love take control. 

I wrote this song for those whose loved one is going through the battle of cognitive decline.When the sun sets low and shadows grow, I find myself lost in a world I don’t know. Please don’t ask me to remember our days, As the memories fade in a foggy haze. Don’t try to explain all the turmoil inside, Just kiss my cheek, hold my hand, be my guide. Forgive me, dear, for the things I can’t say, I’m more confused than I can convey.

DrJoe has a fascination with the creepy, crawling vine known as KUDZU. DrJoe loves chasing storms, so he wrote a song about chasing one:Way out in a dusty field off a country road, The air is still, and we’ve got no load. Can’t you feel it? The sweet rain’s in the air, Waiting for the storm while just sitting there. Come on, storm, is that all you got? We’re ready for a ride, giving it all we've got! From the bed of our pickup, the world’s wild and free, With a radar on my laptop, come chase it with me. 

How a chiropractor helped a dancer recover from a back injury, allowing him to dance again. Fun song written by DrJoe from a real-life experience as a chiropractor!My lady and I were dancing across the floor, Twirling and whirling, kicking down the door. Square dancing faster than the ceiling fans, I picked up Lulu, twirling her over my hands. Suddenly, there came a loud crack! I hollered with the country beat, 'Oh, my back!' Lulu saw the agony, wedding stress in my face, She dragged me off the floor, with a tight embrace. 

The song he wrote is dedicated to his wife of 46 years.
