Years ago I was developing a video game prototype with rhythm mechanics and I needed a test soundtrack with changing tempo to test the rhythm mechanics, so I quickly whipped this thing up. And... here is the track... I guess.

A composition for MUS 409 - Electronic Music Composition class at the University of Nevada, Reno. A/D Converter is a narrative piece that describes the curious day-to-day experience of an engineer whose job is to maintain a machine that converts analog signals into digital soundscapes. Rudimentary sounds are transformed into a series of acoustic events that increase in tension until the machine is finished processing the signals.
