by Ryan Hill
A podcast exploring the big questions and everyday realities of education through the lens of a secondary school music teacher and MA Education student. Blending practice with theory, each episode responds to themes from my postgraduate studies - like digital literacy, creativity, equity, and ethical dilemmas - while drawing on lived classroom experience. With a focus on music education and critical reflection, this is a space to question, connect, and consider what education is, and what it could be.

Teaching in the Digital Age: What Are We Really Responsible For?
In this short episode, I reflect on how my understanding of digital literacy has evolved through my MA studies, and what this means for my role as a secondary school music teacher. I discuss the ethical challenges of using technology in the classroom, including student privacy, safeguarding, and digital inequality, and consider how teachers can take a more critical and reflective approach to using tech in education.
