S2E2-Manipulation In Broad Daylight
A recent board meeting contained an important topic that deserves our attention. As most people know, East Noble has had a spate of high-profile bad outcomes with some of its professional staff. This episode is the second in a series on the reaction of board members towards a suggestion to confidentially share resumes of applicants with board members so they can cast an informed vote. Left-voting legacy board member Jen Blackman “lashes out” with manipulative reframing rather than having a professional discussion of the merits of the proposal. When that didn’t work then she told us all about how she influences votes based on scoping out applicant social media posts - which in reality can only be based upon her own personal values and preferences since she lacks any professional artifacts. Given her body language, reactions and faces she makes toward Christians and conservatives at board meetings, this begs the question; what are her personal biases? Manipulation tactics have been systematically used by our board and superintendent to influence public opinion for years as a means to escape taking appropriate decisive leadership decisions. This episode contains some good examples which can be used to train your ear to listen for it.Parents, grandparents and citizens; there is little else that is more important than guarding our children from harmful people and destructive ideologies. Many teachers are taught and certified by very woke universities. Our board has passed woke-friendly policies, supported woke-friendly books, and recently they approved DEI containing curriculum. And it turns out, we have indeed made some poor hiring and management decisions after all.

S2E1-Informed Votes or Rubber Stamps?
A recent board meeting contained an important topic that deserves our attention. As most people know, East Noble has had a spate of high-profile bad outcomes with some of its professional staff.Parents, grandparents and citizens; there is little else that is more important than guarding our children from harmful people and destructive ideologies. Many teachers are taught and certified by very woke universities. Our board has passed woke-friendly policies, supported woke-friendly books, and recently they approved DEI containing curriculum. And it turns out, we have indeed made some poor hiring and management decisions after all. In this episode we recap the simple ask by a conservative board member to be more informed before he votes on professional staff. That is followed up with several significant examples showing why hiring outcomes prove the need to improve hiring checks and balances. Finally, we start to explore the shallow arguments and manipulations by the legacy left-voting board members.Media Credits: Wane 15 Link 1, Link 2

S1E8-They Did It Again
This episode reviews the April 24, 2024 East Noble School Board's decision to retain another obscene book, which effectively undermines parents by denying them informed consent before their minor children are exposed to graphical sexual content.** This episode contains explicit content read from the book that the board chose to expose to minors without parental consent. The listener is warned before that content begins, and is given an all clear when that portion is done. **It is the right and duty of citizens to engage in the political process when elected officials make decisions that we disagree with and find detrimental to the health of the students and the future of the community. Engage East Noble is simply informing parents / voting public of what is taking place at East Noble School Corporation, and encouraging them to become engaged in positive change. The written companion to this audio episode can be found at https://engageeastnoble.net/they-did-it-again/

S1E7-Obscene Books Part 3 (3rd Parties, Committee & Appeals)
On previous episodes we provided a summary of the Obscene Materials policy itself, a summary of improvement opportunities, then critiques and suggestions on how to best resolve the “as a whole” directive, book catalog - with the change log, reference to challenges, and ratings, then the right to remove and the basics of good process design. In this episode we will wrap up the policy feedback with the areas that are still materially important, but they carry less weight if the other topics are not reasonably resolved first. But they are still very important!

S1E4-Your Girls Deserve a Better Procedure and a Stronger Law
If you are not already aware, the school board unanimously passed their new transgender policy for athletics at East Noble on Wednesday, August 23. From the point of view of some, the policy vote made it harder to protect girl’s sports. Yet others, who I truly believe also desire to fight for the safety of girls, expressed support for the policy. This left many confused. Which is the right perspective? Is it right to support the policy? Let’s explore it.In this episode…We will discuss the context of statements in the policy that refer to compliance with state law.Next we will go through the law, HEA 1041, and then the policy itselfThen sum it all up for you to consider

S1E3-Urgent! Transgender Policy Draft - Significant Flaws
On August 22, the day before the estimated vote date on the Transgender Policy, the board posted the new policy draft. This episode is to provide some insights into that policy proposal. It explains how I see it. If you see it differently, and you feel the currency policy draft doesn’t leave the door open for nefarious behavior, please provide your feedback on our Facebook Group - Engage East Noble (public).

S1E2-Transgender Policy & Lack of Transparency
Well, as you can tell by now, this episode is going to focus on the proposed “transgender policy” at East Noble. The Left is thinking several steps ahead and so should we.The public became aware that the East Noble school board was considering a quote-unquote “transgender policy” at a board working session earlier this year. This was fast off the heels of voting to uphold a secret committee’s decision that found content about masturbation, racism, gay slurs, and religious bigotry “acceptable for use” in the curriculum through Part Time Indian. This episode’s goals are to explain the timeline, the sources of confusion, the lack of transparency, and debate why the board feels they need a “transgender policy” at all. You should consider this very relevant because it looks like the policy will be voted on in just a few days at the August 23rd board meeting.
