    A conversation with Professor Camilo Andres Navarro Forero, Industrial Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences at the Technologico de Monterrey, Mexico. Learn about how Camilo connects his engineering work to peace building in latin America. We caught up with Camilo in Bogota, where he comes from, but he has just moved to Monterrey, which is wonderful timing as that is where our ESJP conference will be held in August 2026!

    Chatting with George Catalano

    ESJP would not exist without George Catalano. In 2024 he attended an 'Engineering and Social Justice' meeting run by cohost Caroline Baillie, in Kingston, Canada. Two years later he decided to run the next one. This one was called "Engineering, Social Justice and Peace'. And George really did add the peace to ESJP.     ESJP at the Pope's summer palace

    Caroline Baillie, cohost of our ESJP podcast series takes us on a visit to the Pope's summer palace in Rome where she took part in the Inaugural meeting of the Global Alliance for Integral Ecology/ Laudato si', launched by the University of Notre Dame and the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Center for Higher Education based at Castle Gondolfo.

    An interview with Diane Cohen of Finger Lakes Reuse

    Do you ever worry about the amount of trash you create? Want to share your used toys and clothes but don't have a place to take them? Diane Cohen has created a huge system of reuse and repair across her city, including deconstructing and repurposing building materials and repairing electronic goods. This may help to reduce the waste going to landfill but she tells us it is actually all about community and relationships.
