Every product we use passes through five hands before reaching us: a Supplier, a Manufacturer, a Distributor, a Retailer, and finally, us - the Consumer. The supplier provides the raw materials. The manufacturer turns those materials into a finished product. The distributor moves it from the factory to shops and the retailer sells it to us directly.
