Hell of a season by Refugio and Sinton as they fall in the 5th round. The Shiner Comanches will return to the state finals where they will face Muenster in a rematch of last years final. Heisman Trophy is now a team award apparently and did Fernando Mendoza deserve it. Plus, injuries are taking over the NFL as 2 big stars go down.

Congrats to the Sinton Pirates and the Refugio Bobcats on advancing to the the state semifinals. We recap Sinton vs Cuero and how it was an instant classic. Refugio also advanced and will play Jaquin a team we got to check out last year. The college football playoff was announced and we got a lot of controversy brewing with Notre Dame, BYU, and Texas being left out. We give our thoughts and we make our predictions for every game and see who we think will be the last team standing. We recap the NFL weekend as playoffs get closer, what Dallas has to do to get in and how good are the Green Bay Packers and other playoff contenders. 

The Area Championships are officially in the books and the undefeated season from the George West Longhorns has officially ended. Longhorns drop a tough game to Lexington, but we can't ignore the magical season that was. We attended Coach Soza and the Rockport-Fulton Pirates game vs Salado, Pirates come out on top 56-28, listen in for our recap. Ganado, Sinton, Kennedy, and Shiner all advance while Stockdale and Poth lose heartbreakers. Listen in to hear all our game breakdowns. We touch on some college football, as the weekend was filled with the top teams playing cupcakes to get ready for Rivalry week. We’re back in studio today with another banger! We got the Texas high school playoffs Bi- District rounds in the books and it went as we expected. Fresh off a state championship Josh Ervin returns to the show. The Indians are geared up and accepting all targets on their backs as they start the 2025 season. We talk how things have been since the winning state and what Ganado has to do to continue having the success they've had after losing a lot of its all-state players.

His second time on our show, first as the Longhorns head coach, we talk to him on how it feels to be back in George West and the expectations he has for this season. He's gearing up for his 12th season as a head coach making the playoffs in all previous 11, and hoping to keep the trend alive as the Longhorns are favored for the second district championship in as many years. Coach Harp was kind enough to join us on short notice and talk about the fantastic year that Ganado ISD is having on the verge of winning a state championship and joining the football team in glory. We talk his coaching journey, what led him to Ganado, and how the girls are feeling going into Thursdays game. This young Ganado team takes the field Thursday at 1pm at Red McCombs field in Austin.
