Sexually explicit books targeted to minors. An update from Angela Rojas on a recent success.

Angela has been an active member of the South Australian community. As a mum she was deeply concerned about the handling of COVID and started being involved with Guardians South Australia due to the impact on children throughout the COVID period. From there Angela also became aware of sexually explicit literature available to children in School and Libraries, as well as educational content being thought to children, which she felt was not age appropriate.Angela has been on a journey of discovery and is sharing her learning to the broader community to raise awareness for parents who want to shield their kids from non age appropriate content.Angela’s Face bookemail - [email protected] from Angela 👇 Disclaimer: All content is presented for educational and/or entertainment purposes only. 'Lets Rethink Renewables' President Katy McCallum joins Mark to discuss the ongoing battle.

About:”We are a network of concerned Australians who are united against the Government’s reckless rollout of industrial renewable projects in regional and rural communities. In desperation to meet Labor’s renewables targets, regional communities are being steamrolled. Throughout Australia, over 120 community action groups are actively resisting industrial wind, solar and transmission projects in their communities. The rushed rollout lacks in genuine community consultation. The environmental, economic and social impacts are significant and the Government is not considering the repercussions on families and rural communities.”Lets Rethink Renewables WEB - https://www.letsrethinkrenewables.org/Let’s Rething Renewables Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/letsrethinkrenewablesDisclaimer: All content is presented for educational and/or entertainment purposes only. South Australia: Another Mt Barker Councillor resigns.

(Updated 4/11 to include links and updates on resignations)Footage sourced from Mt Barker District Council - Council Meeting InformationMount Barker District Council has been rocked by yet another resignation, with Councillor Rebecca Hewett announcing her departure this evening — the latest in a string of councillor exits that highlight continuing internal tensions within the council chamber. In her statement to colleagues, Cr Hewett expressed gratitude to staff and management, commending their professionalism and dedication “despite the challenges of this term.”“I greatly admire your resilience in continuing to work in this environment. I also extend my deepest thanks to the staff, management and the CEO for your guidance and your dedication. Your commitment to serving our community with professionalism and integrity, despite the challenges of this term, has been truly appreciated. I am sincerely grateful for your efforts. Thank you.”While Cr Hewett did not explicitly outline her reasons for stepping down, her words appear to reflect ongoing frustration with the council’s internal culture — one that has recently drawn public scrutiny for conflict, behavioural breaches, and resignations.A Pattern of Resignations and DivisionCr Hewett’s resignation follows that of councillor Sally Harding, who left last year citing personal reasons, as well as Councillor Narelle Hardingham who resigned over culture issues and others who have walked out of meetings mid-session after clashes in the chamber. Reports from The Courier described the council as suffering from “deep-seated culture issues” that have eroded collegiality and public confidence.Cr Hewett herself has previously been at the center of controversy, including a high-profile dispute earlier this year over council funding for a “Survival Day” event organised by the Ruby Hunter Foundation. After posting a community poll on Facebook questioning the funding decision, she said she was “silenced” by repeated interruptions in meetings — a situation that epitomised growing division among councillors.Governance and Financial Pressures MountThe leadership instability comes amid broader concerns about the council’s governance and financial management.Deputy Mayor Samantha Jones was recently found by the SA Ombudsman to have breached the Local Government Act 1999 by failing to declare a material conflict of interest when voting on her own appointment and pay increase. At the same time, the council faces financial strain linked to major projects, most notably the $23 million Summit Sport and Recreation Park, which reportedly costs more than half a million dollars per year to operate — more than triple its expected income.Mount Barker’s rapid population growth has further compounded challenges, with infrastructure and planning struggling to keep pace. Community members and commentators have pointed to both council and state government decisions as contributing factors.A Council Under StrainCr Hewett’s departure underscores a growing sense of instability within Mount Barker’s leadership. The council is now under pressure to restore trust, improve internal behaviour standards, and refocus on service delivery amid record growth in one of South Australia’s fastest-developing regions. With multiple resignations, conflict-of-interest findings, and public disputes over cultural and financial decisions, the council’s next steps will be closely watched by residents and oversight bodies alike.endDisclaimer: All content is presented for educational and/or entertainment purposes only. Follow Graham on Club Grubbery Follow Graham FacebookAbout Captain Graham HoodCaptain Graham Hood, known as "Hoody," is a former Qantas pilot with over 53 years of aviation experience, including 32 years as a captain, flying over 35,000 hours and carrying approximately five million passengers. His life, marked by professional excellence and personal faith, took a significant turn during the COVID-19 pandemic.Career and Personal BackgroundHood’s aviation career began with crop dusting and cattle mustering before joining Qantas. He met his wife, Michelle, during a flight, and their shared faith led them to engage in lay ministry, counseling those facing addiction and hardship. This commitment to service shaped his actions during the pandemic.COVID-19 and Departure from QantasIn 2021, Qantas mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for employees. Hood, citing personal convictions, chose not to comply, leading to his retirement. He shared his perspective through a widely viewed video, “I Do Not Consent,” featuring a poem set to Qantas’ theme song, marking his shift to public advocacy.Advocacy and Community EngagementPost-retirement, Hood launched a "Unity Tour," speaking at over 300 venues across Australia to promote resilience and open dialogue on pandemic policies. In 2024, he contributed to discussions on a potential Royal Commission into Australia’s COVID-19 response, advocating for transparency and ethical governance. His talks emphasized unity and support for the marginalized.LegacyOver the past five years, Hood transitioned from a respected pilot to a prominent advocate. With Michelle, he continues community outreach, driven by faith and a commitment to fostering dialogue. His story reflects resilience and a dedication to principled action during a challenging era.Sources: The Daily Declaration (2022), Southwest Voice (2023), Malcolm Roberts (2024), The Spectator Australia (2021).Disclaimer: All content is presented for educational and/or entertainment purposes only. Discussion with 4 Candidates for Mt Barker and Adelaide Hills Council supplementary elections

Recorded on 12 Sept 2025.📝 Authorisations:Host / Publisher: Authorised by Mark Neugebauer, PO Box 323, Myponga SA.Candidates: Authorised byAuthorised by Richard Gladigau, 58 Burton Rd, Mt Torrens SA 5244Authorised by Martin Bray, 22 Dunnfield Drv, Mt Torrens SA 5244Authorised by Mark Cuthbertson, 532 Norton Summit Rd, Teringie SA 5072Authorised by Darren. Kelly, 102 Mt Barker Rd, Hahndorf SA 5245The elections in Adelaide Hills and Mount Barker Councils in South Australia, occurring outside the regular election cycle, are supplementary elections held to fill councillor vacancies. These vacancies were triggered by resignations earlier in 2025, necessitating elections to ensure full representation on the councils. Specifically:Adelaide Hills Council is holding supplementary elections for its Ranges Ward and Valleys Ward to replace councillors Melanie Selwood, Pauline Gill, and Louise Pascale, who resigned. Six candidates are standing for each ward.Mount Barker District Council is conducting a supplementary election for its South Ward to fill the vacancy left by Narelle Hardingham’s resignation. Three candidates are in the running for this seat.Supplementary elections, as defined by the Local Government (Elections) Act 1999, are conducted when a councillor position becomes vacant due to reasons such as resignation, death, or other circumstances, and there is more than 12 months remaining before the next periodic council election (scheduled for November 2026). These elections ensure councils remain fully functional and representative. Voting for these elections is by postal ballot, with ballot papers delivered between August 26 and September 1, 2025, and must be returned by 12:00 pm on September 22, 2025.Disclaimer: All content is presented for educational and/or entertainment purposes only.
