I’ve created this podcast to create a safe space to have conversations we’re often scared to have or are simply neglected from. Your feelings and thoughts matter. Building this type of community has been a long dream of mine, and I’m so happy to share that it’s finally coming true. 🤍

    Ep. 20 | Who Looks After Me? Ft. Janesia

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally brings on Janesia as her last guest of Season 2. Janesia begins by talking about who she is now vs who she was growing up. She touches a little bit on who she dreamt of becoming as a kid, but later finding passion in becoming an elementary teacher. Lally also asks her if she has found happiness and what it means to her, in which Janesia explains that she doesn’t think happiness is something you can just grasp, but instead something you have to keep building. They both also touch down on therapy and how rare it is talked about in both the Hispanic and African American culture. Lally ends the podcast by asking Janesia what she would tell her younger self in which she responds with “Be fearless and use your voice.” And with that, we close out Season 2!     Ep.19 | It's Not Tea, It's Matcha!

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally begins the episode by talking a little bit about what the next season of Floating Thoughts, will entail. She then touches down on conversations that have been circulating the internet. Primarily the Matcha Girl HTX conversation. She expresses her opinion on it and how she doesn’t think that it should’ve never escalated to that level. Lastly, Lally announces something special towards the end. The first ever GIVEAWAY! Stay tuned for the details! P.S. "I also want to quickly notate, that when talking about the Matcha situation, I focus it mainly as the culture of Japan BUT after doing a little research; Matcha was originated from China, then introduced to Japan.     Ep.18 | Speak Even When Your Voice Shakes Ft. Dalia

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites her very first family member, Dalia! Dalia begins by talking about her upbringing, who she is and who she has become over these years. They both touch down on how crazy it is to be related but not know so much about one another. Dalia also talks a little bit about her condition and how the health care system failed her. She talks about her degree and why she has decided to take that career path. Lastly, Lally ends the episode by asking Dalia what would she tell her 9-year old self. Remember to always use your voice, even if it shakes. Hope you all enjoy!

    Ep. 17 | Growing Pains Ft. Angelica Sloan

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites Angelica to share a little bit of her story and what has led her to become the individual she is today. Lally starts off by asking Angelica who she is now and what has changed from her childhood. Angelica opens up about her trauma and what she dealt with growing up. Angelica explains her surpassing of bullying, obesity and building herself back up to believe in God. While Angelica shares her story, please be aware that this episode does include talks about self-harm, suicide and assault. Always remember to be kind and know you are loved.     Ep. 16 | Why Do Men Cheat? Ft. Jalen LeCounte

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites Jalen as a guest. Lally begins the episode by having Jalen describe his upbringing and what separates younger him to who he is today. They then touch down on what’s been floating around in his head when it comes to the question of him “Doing too much or too little.” Lally then shifts the conversation by asking why Jalen thinks men cheat and where it stems from. While answering the question, Jalen talks a little of what it means to be a man and if it is embodied in today’s society. Jalen finishes off the episode by leaving a message to himself. A message I feel we all need to hear and remind ourselves most times. Stay to the end to listen to what he has to say! I hope you all enjoy this episode.

    Ep. 15 | Girl, Let That Man Go! Ft. Raquel Molinar

    On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites Raquel as a guest. They both talk about social norms and how similar yet different their upbringings were. Raquel shares her journey from growing up as an angry child to now knowing her worth and setting boundaries and standards. They both touch down on self love and what a beautiful outcome grows from pouring into your own cup. Raquel closes out the episode by speaking to her younger self. She shares four big points that will help her younger self understand that future her is going to be okay. The biggest take away from this episode is to love yourself and to not be afraid to cut the things that don't serve purpose in your life. I hope you all enjoy.

    On this episode of Season 2: Floating Thoughts, Lally brings out Ana to talk about different conversations that have been on her mind. Ana discusses a little bit about who she is and who she was growing up. She expands on how she wishes her experience in college was different in ways of socialization and how she viewed herself. They then share a moment in discussing quotes, movies or films that have shifters their perspective. They end up discussing relatable questions and feelings they both share about immigration.

    Ep. 13 | Friends Come and Grow Ft. Perla Guzman

    On Season 2 of Floating Thoughts, Lally starts off by asking Perla to pull a slip out of the jar and answer whatever question she grabbed. They begin conversing on the difficulty of following your dreams vs. your families. They then touch on the subject of friendship and how they've grown apart to find themselves. Perla speaks about where she is mentally and how she has grown but has been enjoying that part of the process. They finish off talking about the Super Bowl and their predictions.     On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally speaks on what it means to romanticize your life. Whether you are single or in a relationship, it is always important to prioritize yourself and have self love. She talks about enjoying solitude before getting into a relationship or when building friendships as it could be easy to lose yourself in the process. Lally also speaks on the importance of gratitude and how to be optimistic and speak highly of ourselves. She finishes it off by letting everyone know that there is so much going on in the world and it is always powerful and beautiful to use your voice to stand up for what’s right.     Ep. 11 | One Step Forward, Ten Steps Back

    On Season 2 of Floating Thoughts, Lally starts off by talking about current issues and how she has been having mixed emotions. She shares her story of what it felt like to have grown up with immigrant parents and the struggles they have faced and how it feels like she's reliving that, years later. She finishes it off by saying to be kind with everything going on because you never if you will ever placed in a situation like this. Thank you for your support and I hope you all enjoy!

    Ep. 10 | Did God Say That? Ft. Melanie Galvan

    On Episode 10 of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites her longtime friend, Mel to share their journey's with God. They touch on the topics of Catholicism and Traditions that come with. They talk about how difficult it is to break the cycle of following what your family believes in versus what God actually says in his word. (The Bible/Holy Scriptures)... Mel brings up how it has been challenging for her to let go of certain traditions like Christmas because her family thinks it's just a phase. The two close off the episode by encouraging everyone to read God's word for themselves and that following God was never made to be easy, but it's for a fact worth it.     Ep. 9 | What's A Vision Without God

    On Episode 9 of Floating Thoughts, Lally talks about her New Years “resolutions” and what she will be implementing and eliminating in this upcoming year. She also invites everyone to give their perspective on vision boards vs. prayer boards. She ends off by asking everyone to take a moment to appreciate everything that they’ve accomplished in 2024 and do everything with intent and love. I hope you all enjoy!

    Ep.8 | You Are What You Eat

    On episode 8 of Floating Thoughts, Lally starts off by asking the audience a question that is centered around self-love, worth, and boundaries. She then talks about why we should all have standards because failing to do so can cause others to mistreat us or treat us less than what we deserve. Lally then closes off the episode by giving the audience advice, in which she says that you should be picky when it comes to food, meaning choose wisely who you allow in your life, because what you consume is eventually what you become.

    Ep. 7 | Voting, True Crime, & Winter Blues

    On episode 7 of Floating Thoughts, Lally talks about social media topics that have been trending as well as day to day news. She briefly talks about why everyone’s vote should be respected but also emphasizes the importance of understanding that people will vote based on their personal daily lives. Lally then talks about the Menendez brothers and their chances of getting out of prison, leaving it open for discussion to the audience to answer whether they too believe they should be released. Lastly, Lally closes off the episode by bringing Winter Blues to others attention and explaining why she believes some people experience it and how to try and avoid it. Hope you all enjoy!

    On episode 6 of Floating Thoughts, Lally decides to put herself in the "hot seat" to talk about what has been floating around in her head. Finding it difficult to talk about the subject of healing and her past experiences with trauma, she brings back KenDarian, whom helps her feel more comfortable when speaking on this particular topic. Lally then goes in depth of the steps of healing and how these steps have allowed her to understand the journey that comes with it when you decide to heal. They close off the episode by KenDarian asking Lally an important question, in which it makes Lally ponder heavily prior to responding. Hope you all enjoy!

    Ep. 5 | So this is Motherhood? ft. Crystal Williams

    On episode 5 of Floating Thoughts, Lally brings Crystal Williams, who talks about motherhood and how she is still trying to find that balance between following her individual journey while also following her motherhood journey. Crystal shines a positive light on what it means to be a young mother who is learning to adapt everyday and be okay with it. Crystal has embraced the fact that her schedule is going to change, despite her being a “on schedule” type of person, and has learned that it’s not a huge deal, as we often make it out to be. Crystal and Lally then close out the episode by letting mothers know that they’re okay and they’re doing an amazing job, whether they see it now or not. I hope you all enjoy!

    On episode 4 of Floating Thoughts, Lally invites Monica Sanchez, to talk about her upbringing and how therapy helped her but caused a level of misunderstanding in her household. Monica then brings up her problem with the word “yes” and how it’s gotten her to put herself last in a lot of situations. She also ponders if she’s a good person, and if that’s the case, then why does she find it so hard to believe it herself? They close out the episode by making it known that it is okay to be you and that setting boundaries is an okay thing to do, despite the negative connotation the word might have.     Ep. 3 | Trauma, Trauma, Go Away ft. KenDarian Carter

    On episode 3 of Floating Thoughts, Lally brings her first guest, KenDarian Carter, who speaks on the challenges of trauma and how it follows us like a shadow. KenDarian tackles the big question of what it means to be a man when growing up without a father figure. He also talks about how he has learned to break the mold of “men aren’t supposed to have feelings.” They close out the show by giving a message to those who might be dealing with trauma, by letting them know they’re not alone and that it’s okay to reach out for help.     On Episode 2 of Floating Thoughts Lally talks about the difficulty of being a woman in a world that appears to not be on their side. She then ponders if others live life by a timeline or on a day to day basis. She also shares her opinion as to why she doesn’t think women should set timelines for themselves, as they already deal with so much. Lally closes the episode by sharing why women should uplift one another and always strive to be better for themselves and not for others.

    Ep.1 | "Loving Yourself in Dark Times"

    On Episode 1 of Floating Thoughts, Lally answers the big question of, “Where has she been?” She then dives a little deeper into her journey being away and what she encountered during the times she felt alone and at her lowest. Lally closes this episode by reminding everyone that it is okay to feel and how our feelings are validated.
