When we started this podcast, we figured we’d keep it easy. Descript seemed like a good move. Fancy studio-level shit like Audition? Sure, it’s nice. We have the know-how. But we’re not trying to sink hours into tweaking every goddamn waveform just to pump out an episode every two weeks. The goal here? Fast, efficient, useful.But Descript? That thing was a bit of a mess. Buggy as hell. In theory, it should’ve let us bang out episodes in a day, but instead, it chewed up time like a black hole. We’re talking days lost to troubleshooting. Not the vibe.So, we jumped ship to Riverside. Had to rewire our brains a little, but so far? Not bad. Seems stable.Now, about this episode—you were supposed to get a tight little 20-minute half-episode to make up for the absolute banger we lost last week thanks to our old, glitch-ridden platform. Instead, what happened was two fn’ hours of Alia Laura, Ben Kanee, and Don Eglinski diving deep into the genetic modification of magic mushrooms, cannibalism, and other questionable content. Most of that got the axe in editing… but if enough of you ask, we’ll drop the B-roll.Also, fun fact: we learned Alia has an OnlyFans. Welcome to the pilot episode of Fn’cast, your guide to good fn’ times! We’re beyond grateful to everyone carving out time during the busiest time of the year to make this happen. The reason we’re dropping this first (very rough) episode is simple: this doesn’t fit any podcast mould we’ve seen. We needed to get a shitty one out there, iterate, and figure out what works and what doesn’t.
