Búho (Professor Angel Dust Remix)
-en castellano más abajo- Originally conceived as an instrumental piece, “Búho” sits at the core of Delahuerta’s sonic identity. In this new release, Professor Angel Dust, a pioneer of electronic music in Spain, revisits the instrumental essence of the track and reshapes it through his own sonic language, offering a more atmospheric, refined and groove-driven perspective. The result is a downtempo remix with dub-inflected undertones, built around deep basslines, organic textures and a hypnotic rhythmic structure, equally suited for the dancefloor and for focused listening. By stripping the track down to its essential elements, the remix opens up new space and reveals subtle layers within the original composition. It is worth noting that this remix forms the musical foundation of “Es Buena Suerte”, the vocal version featuring Héctor Guerra, recently released by Folcore Records, expanding the track’s expressive reach through a different narrative approach. A solid and versatile release aimed at DJs, selectors and attentive listeners alike, reinforcing the creative connection between Delahuerta and Professor Angel Dust within a long-form, organic electronic context.

“Es Buena Suerte” arrives on digital platforms, a stellar collaboration that fuses the mastery of three titans of global music to create an anthem of groove and organic electronica. This single brings together Delahuerta (the acclaimed organic electronic project led by DJ Panko, founder of Ojos de Brujo), legendary DJ and producer Professor Angel Dust (a pioneer of electronic music in Spain), and charismatic singer Héctor Guerra (architect of “Perreo Cósmico”). The result is a downtempo dub sound journey, where the production is based on a magnetic and sophisticated groove. “Es Buena Suerte” stands out for its rich organic instrumentation and enveloping atmospheres, weaving the perfect backdrop for the powerful and distinctive lyrics of Latin American singer Héctor Guerra. - Delahuerta, DJ.Panko's new project, tells the adventure of his personal life story, of his migration to a rural environment from the very heart of intercultural Barcelona, Ciutat Vella, of tranquillity, of nature, of the sound of birds and of his passion for agriculture. Delahuerta is his homage to Nature and agriculture. An audiovisual combo born from animal recordings and online sessions with fellow musicians from around the world during the quarantine restrictions of 2020. - Héctor Guerra presents himself as a cultural phenomenon in constant evolution, positioned at the forefront of global urban music. With roots in Spain and Bolivia, Guerra embodies the perfect collision between Latin American roots music and the most electrifying electronic sounds, forging a unique identity he himself dubbed "Cosmic Perreo". His professional career took off at a breakneck pace. At just 19, he was mentored by the legendary DJ Lord (Cypress Hill/Public Enemy), which allowed him to open for Public Enemy during their Spanish tour in 2003—a milestone that marked the start of his projection. Guerra's versatility is reflected in his collaborations, which consolidate his mestizo (mixed) and global sound. He has worked with Mexican music references such as Panteón Rococó, Alemán, Rubén Albarrán (Café Tacuba), and Roco (Maldita Vecindad), in addition to the king of cumbia sonidera, Alberto Pedraza, and the rapper Andan Cruz. In the Spanish panorama, he has joined forces with artists like Macaco and Muerdo. His musical proposal is an audacious fusion that masterfully navigates between hip hop, cumbia, electronica, and deep Latin American roots, offering the listener a sonic journey that is as potent as it is original. - Professor Angel Dust is recognized as a central and unavoidable figure in Spanish electronic music, boasting a long-standing trajectory that defines the landscape of club production and performance. Born in Mexico and based in Barcelona, his catalog is a testament to global versatility and reach, encompassing his own productions, remixes, and works for an elite roster of artists. As the founder of the influential R.I.C.O. Entertainment label, his vision has transcended borders and genres, collaborating with international icons such as Sean Paul, Kool Keith, The Pharcyde, and Freddie Fresh, as well as with pillars of the Hispanic scene like Muchachito Bombo Inferno, Peret, Mucho Muchacho, La Mala Rodríguez, Macaco, Ojos De Brujo, and Delahuerta, among others. His impact on radio play was solidified with his acclaimed version of "Oye Cómo Va," a track featuring Benjamin and Mucho Muchacho that climbed to the Top 5 of national radio and received vital international support from figures like Gilles Peterson on his BBC program. Beyond the studio, Professor Angel Dust is a DJ with a consolidated career in the global circuit. He was the creator of the legendary Bongo Lounge parties at La Paloma, and his sets have led him to perform in countless clubs around the world and at top-tier festivals such as Sónar, Benicàssim (FIB), Sfinks Festival, and Primavera Sound.

Tórtolas (MiRET Remix)
Delahuerta - Tórtolas (Remixes) Folcore 145 Folcore Records website: folcore.org About Tórtolas The sound of Turtledoves fluttering above my house signals the arrival of good weather.... They return in spring and always fly to create the nest in the same place as the previous year. Their sound with a continuous rhythm inspires me tranquillity... calm... peace... a great gift in the times we live in. Mû Mbana, composer and performer of multiple stringed instruments with which he spreads tones and aromas of Africa around the world. A native of Bolama Island in Guinea-Bissau, he grew up influenced by the religious chants of the women of the Brame (Macanha) and Bijagos (Bidjugu) ethnic groups. Mû is one of the people who pushed me the most to take this project forward, and he has also been in charge of the vocals on this track. I was also lucky to have the collaboration of Theodoros Koumartzis on Greek lyre, and Sergio Di Finizio on electric bass. Cid Napalma, Wellington Coelho and Morgan Stern added percussion from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. — DJ Panko The release is completed with an alternative version with vocals by Laizä, an artist from Los Barrios, Cádiz, based in Madrid, and remixes by the Colombian artist Ruido Selecto, the Galicians Terrae and the Catalan producer of Mexican origin MiRET.

Unamuno
Don Plok - Unamuno Folcore Records https://folcore.org About Camino de Cintura Two EPs of 5 tracks each that function as the two facets of the same work, and that cover the different bifurcations in the production process of the album, one with calmer yet catchy sounds and the other more nocturnal and frenetic. ‘The process was paused several times for tours, and each time we picked up the musical mood evolved, so there are different moods and genres, representing different interests and musical pursuits. The first tracks are very much influenced by the music I like to listen to, and the last ones by what I like to play in a club’ - says Don Plok regarding the two volumes in which the album is presented. The tracks on Vol. 1 go through different stages, such as tranquillity, creativity, enthusiasm, eclecticism, mystery, while those on Vol. 2 go through other emotions, such as euphoria, wildness, stimulation, excitement and madness. Camino de cintura, is the route that borders the city of Buenos Aires. It represents the diversity of the peripheries, as well as the proximity and connection between apparently distant points. The album is a journey along the creative route of the multifaceted Argentinean producer, in two instalments, which offer that variable vision of a chameleon-like artist who knows how to adapt to the different realities of his day-to-day life as a DJ, producer and communicator of musical language through the soundsystem culture and raver ‘bonaerense’. ‘Camino de Cintura is a road close to my house, it crosses the entire Buenos Aires suburbs but from the depths of the city. The wide route represents the diversity that can be found on this road, telling a story that pays homage to the different types of suburbs and imaginaries’ - says Pablo Carpignano aka Don Plok. The second release will be available on platforms on Friday 14 June, and consists of 5 tracks as well and includes collaborations with more guest artists. It features a higher BPM sound, closer to dancefloor. The album was artistically produced together with Manuel Schaller (Sexteto Irreal, Axel Krygier, Orquesta Hypnofón, Dick el Demasiado, Avant Press) in his Buenos Aires studio Oídos Contentos.

Don Plok & Macha Kiddo - Tripeando Folcore Records https://folcore.org About Camino de Cintura Two EPs of 5 tracks each that function as the two facets of the same work, and that cover the different bifurcations in the production process of the album, one with calmer yet catchy sounds and the other more nocturnal and frenetic.

Una Cebolla - Del Brazo Con La Muerte
VV.AA. El Digitalazo - Manifest After its debut with the first publication in June this year, this new volume appears to bid farewell to 2023. With each new release, El Digitalazo gradually consolidates the foundations of the ideal space to experiment with the Cuarteto. The Cuarteto, the popular rhythm of Córdoba, Argentina, recently celebrated 80 years of existence and since then it has been and continues to be the soundtrack of many generations. It has always been played at events as varied as birthdays, weddings, barbecues, neighbourhood centres, on the radio in the greengrocer's shop or on a neighbour's pavement. Its maximum expression: "el baile", where every night the communion of the people of Cordoba takes place, with different orchestras playing from Monday to Monday. Whether consumed directly or indirectly, most Cordobeses have enjoyed throwing a few steps to the rhythm of the tunga-tunga. The upbeat and fast rhythm is accompanied by lyrics that explore themes such as love, heartbreak, the caravan, melancholy, sadness and the experiences of the popular neighbourhoods, framed in the harsh reality. All with the same dose. From El Digitalazo we moved the Cuarteto sound to the terrain that was yet to be explored: the fusion with electronic music, resulting in what we call Cuarteto Digital. This is our humble tribute to popular music, expressed in the language we know. El Digitalazo exposes in a collective way what had been brewing little by little and in an isolated way: the constant search for new sound horizons with a Cordobés accent. https://eldigitalazo.bandcamp.com Follow on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/eldigitalazo
