    Glycine, the Romantic

    This episode takes you on a journey under the blossoms of the Wisteria. Considered a silent flower, wisteria's fragrance is very difficult to extract. A challenge successfully met by L'Occitane en Provence.! This lilac-colored plant is particularly fond of climbing up facades, especially when the sun is shining. Symbol of tenderness, Wisteria left Asia to conquer the world in the 19th century.     Barbotine, the Bold

    Today, Barbotine widely opens its doors.Known for hundreds of years, this flower has had a thousand lives: from a star of cosmetics transformed into cream or floral water, to a remedy for women's fertility in the Middle Ages and still today in the kitchens of our great Chefs. A tall, beautiful perennial plant, despite its gentle nickname of Golden Button in the UK, it is nothing like a buttercup.     Forgotten Flowers, the story of a fantastic rehabilitation adventure

    10 years ago, L'Occitane en Provence embarked on an extraordinary quest: to recover the essence of flowers forgotten by the world of perfumery. To recapture their fragrance, the brand set up an unprecedented collaboration of experts: researchers, ingredient producers, perfumers... The adventure began! What criteria would be used to select these flowers? And when this was possible, how would their supply chain be re-established? How could their delicate essence be extracted?
