I believe there's no ONE way to do this. It really depends on your personality, your drive, your goals, so in this episode I'm sharing some options (I've learned them from my favorite prolific content creators). 6: Why I'll stay vulnerable

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”― C.S. 1: How to nurture the most important relationship in your life

When I was in grade school, my classmates and I would always discuss our biggest dreams in life. Some would say they wanted to be a doctor, some vowed to become a teacher. Strangely, I distinctly remember always answering, 'My biggest dream would be to go to heaven at the end of my life.' This maybe why this verse resonates with me so much: 'He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.' — Ecclesiastes 3:11, NKJV In today's episode, I share some of the ways I've been trying to nurture the most important relationship in my life: the one I have with God. Regardless of the spiritual practice you subscribe to, I made sure that the first half of the podcast can be applicable to you. Towards the end of this episode, I briefly share my Christian faith: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for humanity's sins and was resurrected, offering forgiveness and eternal life through faith in Him. Welcome to Get Your Life Together

Hello, I'm glad you're here. 👋🏼 The past 6 months have been tough. • I couldn’t commit to things that used to bring me joy—I felt no sense of direction or purpose. • I lost so much weight, had heavy bags under my eyes (couldn’t sleep well because of frequent panic attacks), my face started breaking out so much more than usual and got sick almost once every month. • I couldn’t focus most of the time. It’s like the days were just passing me by and as overdramatic as it sounds, I felt like I was just wasting away. • Most of the time, I couldn't recognize who I’ve become and I wasn’t sure who I wanted to be anymore. I felt like an utter failure. • I cried. A lot. I think the tears I cried in the past 6 months made up for the years I haven’t cried so much. • I felt the pressure to have it all ✨figured out✨ and the debilitating disappointment in the fact that I CERTAINLY DO NOT HAVE MY LIFE TOGETHER. I know, I know. Why should you read anything I write or listen to anything I say if I myself am feeling this way? Honestly, you shouldn’t. Perhaps you’re better off hearing someone else’s story, someone who’s already happy and successful and got it all figured out. But... If you feel like you’re all over the place too, if you made a mess of your life lately and you’re not sure how to start over… Or if you just want some company while you’re also exploring and figuring things out for yourself... Then I’d be honored to share this journey with you. 🫶🏼 I would love for this podcast to be a safe space for you to check in with yourself, gather tools and tips for getting your life together, and serve as a gentle reminder that you are not alone. ❤️ Let's do this! 🌱 Love, Kishly 💌 Free newsletter: subscribepage.io/getyourlifetogether 🤳 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kishlycan/ "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." — Romans 8:28, NKJV
