Spanning 30 years from the mid 80’s ‘Secrets of a Taxi Driver’ is a collection of short true stories from Joe a former London Black Cab Driver. Joe started the knowledge initially to support a mate but being on the dole lost and depressed he got intrigued by the challenge and so Joe became a driver to try and reinvent himself and forget the past. Isolated frustrated and alone, his daily interactions fuel his fantasies and frequent confrontations push him into a whole new strange reality. Lost as he is, Joe tries to help his passengers find their way but who’s helping him find his way?

Joe is hailed by two policemen with machine guns who are trying to help a beautiful girl get home. Soon shots are fired when Joe can't find her hotel but is it friendly fire?

Joe collects a man who doesn’t know where he’s going and doesn’t have any money. Joe is pushed to the edge of his sanity but has to wonder if he would have reacted the same if the man was bigger.

Joe gets into a confrontation with two male passengers after taking a wrong turn. His integrity is challenged when they refuse to pay which makes it impossible to back down, even though they may have a point.
