Welcome to the second season of GHD Podcast. In the first episode back, I want to start a conversation around injuries and their impact. We all know the sport is physical and dangerous. Originally planned to drop on the first week of January 2024, we are now in the last week of January 2024! A brief opener about the beginning of the PWHL's season and onto a topic close to home for many. Female coaches in women's minor hockey. Where do we find them, and why aren't there more of them. A brief story about my personal experiences, and some thoughts on how we can possibly see more entering the ranks! I think this will be a topic for many to engage in.

I was lucky enough to steal the time of PWHL Toronto's assistant coach Rachel Flanagan this week. A very gracious thing for her to do in a week where she is acting as Head Coach for Team Canada at the Rivalry Series in Kitchener ON. Rachel covers her start in hockey right through to becoming head coach of the University of Guelph WoHo team.
