McLain is also on The University of Colorado's research faculty and is the director of corporate identity and culture at the National Center for Women and Information Technology in Boulder, Colorado.Astronauts and researchers have used parabolic flights since the 1950s to train for missions to space. These flights create weightlessness by flying a series of parabolic maneuvers.
