People We Meet on Vacation, Rejection, and The Power of Psychoanalysis (and Forgiveness)

It’s a rainy dark morning in the city. I wanted to talk about the concepts of rejection and forgiveness. I pondered how we go about forgiveness, if we even do, and how that affects us. Ultimately, there are two ways we use understanding; to demean through comparison, or to empathize through shared experience. I explained the road both of these paths lead down, but I’m not actively suggesting to take one or the other. But to better understand what these concepts mean for us as individuals.

Harry Styles & The Downplay of the Teenage Girl

Hellooooo! And Welcome or Welcome back. The Harry Styles album is an album I’ve loved for years to little to no support. It’s a really underrated piece of work and I’m excited to share that with you all today! As we talk about Harry, I feel it’s important we acknowledge the shift in his demographic. The driving force in his popularity, teenage girls. And how they, have been downplayed in terms of their preferences in the media. How quick men, and at times other “cooler” women, will debase their preferences. How art made “for girls” is almost completely written off entirely. I found some wonderful articles that dove into this topic. People love to write off teenage girls. Here's why they're dead wrong.— Insider. Ep.2 The Met & The Power of Dating Yourself

Hello everyone! I hope you’re well :) Welcome to episode 2!! This week I spoke about the beauty of the Met at night. Seriously, go. Also, the power of dating yourself is so underrated! I spoke about the power of cultivating a relationship with yourself; and the many, many benefits that will come from it. As you begin to embody the love you’re looking for, you will begin to find wholeness in yourself. That wholeness will make navigating relationships easier, and make you a better partner as you’re no longer putting pressure on others to provide things you lack! I mainly talk about romantic relationships but this goes for all kinds! Friendships, parents, siblings, whichever!

    Ep.1 The Long Game.

Hello! Welcome to Hall, if you please! This episode is about the long game. It’s pretty intimidating to think about; so when we speak about it openly, it levels things out. It’s inevitable, I think, to come across at least one thing in your adult life that you will chose to commit to. And I hope that in this episode, that becomes a bit easier to bear.
