Sorry, recorded this in a serious whirl. Here are some pre-drop corrections:-Lots of people still use washboards, and very effectively, but I don’t know any of those people (yet). I apologize to them if my commentary about washboards was offensive or insensitive.-Smell is fairly easily replicated, of course, and touch can also be replicated, but to a lesser degree than the other things. (Audio and visual are the smoking-hot topics at the moment, though.)-The song I was going to mention was "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite", when Michael Stipe sing-laughs after singing "Dr. Zeus", because he'd intendend to sing "Dr. Seuss" instead. That kind of “imperfection” will be a little more difficult for technology to replicate, but not so difficult that it won't be done.-I never finished talking about the possibility that I'm not going to promise, but I might do that sometime in the future.Like I said, I was in a whirl😉-HKP.S. I forgot to mention what eventually happened to the database:Once it was completed, it wasn’t all that difficult to keep updated, so I maintained it up until I ran into some financial difficulties. At that point, I’d already understood that my greater goal of establishing a community of like-minded fans of TLF was not going to materialize, so it was an easy decision to cut the monthly cost of the transcription service I’d been using from my budget.So, I guess you could say that I invented a new type of ballgame, invited a bunch of people to play with me, got tired of playing, myself, and then left the game, but didn’t take my ball with me.(This podcast is the newest type of ballgame I’ve invented, btw, and I’m still actively playing it😉)P.S.
