Margaret Melville, MBA - Founder @Lasa Health on Endometriosis Journey to Diagnosis, Being a Female Founder, AI, and Machine Learning [VIDEO]
Staggering, heartbreaking, and unacceptable. The current standard is 10 years to diagnosis for a chronic disease that causes severe and life-impacting pain for an estimated 10% of women and girls globally. That disease is endometriosis. Margaret Melville - a female founder and MBA grad who is harnessing AI and machine learning to improve healthcare delivery is working to change that with her company Lasa Health. Lasa Health helps clinicians and ultimately helps patients by providing a unique and innovative solution to a serious problem in the women's health space with plans to eventually expand her platform beyond it's focus on pelvic pain and endometriosis to include other commonly under-diagnosed medical conditions. As a clinician, I cannot wait to see the impact this company has on the healthcare industry and care delivery.
