But it's in the Bible!
In our last episode of the season, we look to the Bible. Three cities that appear in it, three cities shrouded in both myth and history. We look at a possible real location for Sodom and Gomorrah, and just graze the history of the epic city of Babylon.(While doing our best with pronouncing ancient Babylonian names).

On the Road to... Somewhere
Most of our focus as been in Europe, but South America has lost cities as well. Today, we look at El Dorado and Machu Picchu. How are they similar? How are they different? We look into these questions and more, with a special guest.

Lost and Found Vikings
Viking. The very name creates an image of brutish men with beards and axes. And while they were these, there was another side to them: Explorers. We look at two lost cities believed to be built by, or at least connected to, vikings.

What a Bunch of Bull
Crete, a Greek island with thousands of years of history. We go into the island's past, into its most famous civilization, the Minoans. How did they help inspire several Greek myths? What do we know about their culture? And what's with all the bulls? Just a few things that the Trio goes into today.

Atlantis aka "Plato, Where's My Island?"
Atlantis, it's a mythical city that some insist is real, and others say is completely a story. We trace the origins of the story, how it's evolved over time, and what we think it really is/could be. And if you've never heard of it, we talk about the even weirder lost continent of Lemuria.

The City of Troy
Maybe you know it from the 'Iliad', maybe you know it from hunky actors in a movie, maybe it's the image of a horse. One way or another, you've likely heard of Troy and the Trojan Horse. We peel back the Hollywood glamour to take a look at the many layers of the city of Troy, straddling both myth and history.

In Part 2, we look at the day that ended Pompeii, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. As a caution, we do discuss how people died, what their bodies tell us, and what could happen to modern Naples when Vesuvius erupts again.

In episode 3 of our mini-series, Cassandra and Sarah bite into three pieces of history. The birth and life of Bettie Paige (who deserves her own full episode in the future!), the death of (un?)popular president Richard Nixon, and we add a touch of class by covering 'Swan Lake'. The history, of course. It may be better to watch real swans than watch us attempt ballet.

The Amityville Horror - 50th Anniversary Special
Running Late on the next two episodes we apologies! We will explain it in our end of season wrap up. I decided to release this episode on the anniversary of the day the Lutz family fled the house. ‘The Amityville Horror’ was reportedly based on two real events. We look at them, trying to tease out the Hollywood treatment and focus on the real horrors that happened. A special note that this episode does talk about the murders of children, although we try to address them as sensitively as possible.
