Ep. 16 - Jennifer Morley: Studying & Starting A Business
Recent graduate Jennifer Morely is back on campus to reflect on her years studying at MTU. Although Jennifer wanted to study nursing after school, her path led her to marketing. Jennifer always wanted to start her own business, and she did just that, all the while studying. In second year she discovered a talent for making protein balls which led her to start Two More Power Balls, which supplies cafés across Ireland.

Ep.15 - Sophie O'Keeffe: Entrepreneurship & Creativity
Sophie interest in marketing stemmed from her music career as a singer/songwriter. She wanted to learn digital marketing to help with her music career where the two overlap in creativity helping with campaigns. This is why she choose marketing at MTU. During her course, she set up Ballycotton 1851 with her parents creating artwork, clothing and artisanal products inspired by the seascape of their hometown.

Ep.14 - Hannah Falvey: Exploring All Avenues
Hannah landed at marketing at MTU initially to study early childhood studies, only to find it wasn't for her. Instead, she studied beauty therapy before working in pharmaceuticals. On the side, Hannah started marketing in the Cork music scene which ignited her interest and passion. This all led the way to MTU where she flourished, juggling her course, travelling on an Erasmus, working in social media and continuing in the Cork music scene. Today she is sales & marketing executive at Castlemartyr Hotel.

Ep.13 - Luke McKenzie: Advertising, Branding & Breaking Out Of Your Shell
Luke had a keen interest in the psychological aspect of business, why people buy things and the advertising behind products. This interest led him to study at MTU. During his time, he learned the ins and outs of running a business. Combining this with an interest in playing cards, he and his fellow students set up the Cork Card Show, an expo to trade and sell playing cards for enthusiasts alike.

Catríona is back on campus reflecting on her time in MTU studying marketing as an undergraduate and digital marketing as a masters student. Catríona was always interested in marketing since school days. She discusses her experience with multiple companies over the years, the learning involved and her current employment at Lely.

Ep.11 - Sophie Hudner: Where Passion & Career Meets
Sophie Hudner is back from the Middle East and back on campus to discuss her love of business which started from an early age in 4th year of school. Marketing was a clear path for her post-school which soon became a passion and career path. While studying in MTU, Sophie blended her love of sport and marketing offering to take over social media for many clubs while her career saw her work for the likes of Apple, Musgraves. Today Sophie is in the Abu Dhabi where she now works as an Influencer Executive in the Department of Culture and Tourism.

Ep.10 - Danielle Isherwood: Lecturers & Mentorship
It's a live episode with Danielle Isherwood who returns to campus for the launch of the Hive at MTU. Danielle reflects fondly on her college experience and discusses how the rapport and mentorship between lecturers and students at MTU is unmatched. In fact, having built bonds with lecturers, it was presenter Stephen Ryan who helped Danielle get an internship at RedFM which kickstarted her career in business.

Ep.9 - Ryan: Chasing Brand Dreams With Adidas
It's a live episode with Ryan who returns to campus for the launch of the Hive at MTU. As a huge fan of the Adidas, Ryan always wanted to work with the brand. In spite of a school teacher once telling him he would never succeed with that, he was determined to follow his dreams and that he did. Following his course at MTU, he moved to Germany to do just that and worked with some famous football faces like Roberto Carlos and Zinedine Zidane to name a few.

Ep.8 - Tommy: Professional Life Post College
Tommy is back after just finishing his exams at MTU. Tommy has been working since 5th year in school, balancing school and work and continued the balance throughout college. The course allowed him to gain skills and knowledge to grow as an employer. He is starting a new business venture. Watch this space!

Ep.7 - Matthew: Content Creation, Media & Marketing
Leaving MTU has been surreal for Matthew as he prepares for the professional world. Matthew initially studied Business, but transferred to Marketing in 4th year. His passion for photography and media sparked his interest in content creation through marketing. What Matthew enjoyed most at MTU is being on campus post Covid, meeting classmates, group work collaboration and how Hive was a creative space to allow creative ideas to flow.

Ep.6 - Karen: The Power of Social Media & Marketing
Karen always had an interest in business and wanted to use marketing as a creative tool to express her ideas. Karen has a big interest in food and the hospitality industry which sparked the idea to set up a foodie blog during lockdown which gained a good following. Collaborating was also important for Karen with the most memorable being a trip to Utrecht working with Dutch students.

Ep.5 - Jack: Dead Set on Marketing
Jack is back on MTU campus a year after graduating and reflects on his time studying. He's been back many times to give talks to students on his experience, his love of the course and how it opened many opportunities to work with companies and brands. He always wanted to study marketing and knew it was the course for him.

Ep.4 - Emily: Creativity Through Marketing
Emily had initially wanted to be a teacher, but a trip by MTU lecturer Stephen Ryan to Emily's school sealed the deal for her CAO. Emily always had a flare for creativity, a vision of ideas and a love of brands and wanted to express this through marketing. Through her experience she discovered the importance of collaboration and project works and persevering through the challenges of Covid-19 and the course online.

Ep.3 - Chloe: Changing Courses & Chasing Her Dreams
Chloe started the marketing course as a mature student. Previously she studied Early Childhood Years, but realised the course wasn't for her and she dropped out to study Beauty Therapy. She set up Glow by Chlo posting her make up clients online when she discovered a love of social media and marketing. She chased her dreams to study marketing at MTU and believes it was the best decision she has made.

Ep.2 - Cathal: Love of Brands & Benefits of Travel
Cathal has gone full circle since starting college online on a laptop during a pandemic, to closing the laptop on MTU campus one final time. Cathal initially wanted to go to Dublin to study, but his love for brands led him to marketing course at MTU. He reflects his time in college as a time of growth which also opened the opportunity for travel and to learn new cultures during his Erasmus year.

Ep.1 - Adah: College Life To Adulting Life
After four years at MTU, graduate Adah is now managing the transition from college life, to adult life. Adah originally choose a business degree but slowly but surely started merging into marketing using it as a tool to express her creative side. Adah started at MTU online, but persevered thought the challenges Covid-19 brought through her time in college.
