that's right, we're going there. whilst euro summer is my all time favourite time/place/vibe, there are certain things the influencers don't show you that go into the journey behind getting the postcard-worthy photo.in this episode, i'm pulling back the curtain and sharing the reality of euro summer travels. from motion sickness to sweating in all the wrong places, how pace of travel influences your experience of a place and yes, how the wrong shoe choice can absolutely WRECK your feet. oh, and the stairs. all. of. the. stairs.a must-listen for anyone planning a euro summer trip or vacation where you know you're gonna be wracking up 20k step days or travelling in peak season, take these tips and learn from my experience. if you resonate with this episode, consider leaving a friendly review, sharing it in the girls trip group chat to get your prep on lock and come say hey on socials!instagram: @holdmypassportwhileicrytiktok: @thislifebygab

7: was i born in the wrong hemisphere? (my first summer birthday!)
this episode is a riff on the places we are born vs the places we are drawn to. on the things we take for granted and the hurdles we have to jump through in order to move to a new country. a peek into how i really feel about where i'm from and the place i truly would love to be.plus, if you know me, you know i am a BIG birthday person. so we talk about the difference between growing up in the southern hemisphere with my birthday in the depths of winter, compared to last year having my very first SUMMER birthday in my all time favourite country!if you resonate with this episode, consider leaving a friendly review, sharing it with someone who might be feeling a similar kind of way and come say hey on socials!instagram @holdmypassportwhileicrytiktok @thislifebygab

6: people we meet on vacation - when the movie mirrors reality
in this episode, we're talking all about the people we meet on vacation - both the movie and also in real life. i had zero expectations hitting play on this movie, simply searching for a cheesy, easy rom com, but it surprised me how many accurate reflections, depictions and mirrors came through in the storyline.from trusting strangers we meet in a foreign country to allowing ourselves to be whoever we want to be when we land in a completely new environment, the lessons we learn from immersing ourselves in different cultures all while simultaneously realising what is truly important to us, this movie was surprisingly honest and real.if you resonate with this too, consider leaving a friendly review, sharing this episode with your friend who loves (or is scared of the unknown that comes with) travelling and come say hey on socials!instagram: @holdmypassportwhileicrytiktok: @thislifebygab

1: how did i end up here?
i never wanted to live a conventional life, but i also never thought i would end up in my late twenties with no plan, no path and still figuring it out. before we get into the wild travel stories, one way tickets and manifesting actual vision board experiences, i feel like i need to catch you up on some of the contributing factors behind HOW i actually got here. because let me tell you, it hasn't been an easy ride. episode one is me filling you in on the lore of my life and letting you peek into my past to understand why i make what can often be viewed as chaotic decisions, why i prioritise travel over stability at this point in my life and why it might look like a mess from the outside, but there may just be a deeper meaning to all of it. think of this as a raw, real yap session between the two of us lying on the hotel bed after a long day sunbathing at the beach before we get ready to go out for dinner. that's the vibe i want to create with this show. or like sending you voice notes of the crazy stories i have to tell of adventures, mishaps and both fortunate and unfortunate events lol.if you relate to the chaos or enjoy listening, consider leaving a friendly review or sharing this episode with the girls. and if you want to hang out, come say hey on socials!instagram: @holdmypassportwhileicrytiktok: @thislifebygab
