Come along for the ride!

    First Contact

Damo and Mick experience an existential crisis as they realise they just ran out of time-travel shenanigans, and must become Enterprise podcast hosts now.

  2. 17

    Fissure Quest Part 1

In this episode of How Much for Just the Podcast, Damo and Mick totally betray their audience and break their self-imposed rules for the podcast episode sequence. In their discussion of the penultimate episode of Lower Decks, they talk about Quantum Leap, profanity, the Hellraiser franchise, censorship, and also Lower Decks a lot more than […]

  3. 16

    Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow

I was going to write a detailed description about what we discussed after watching this episode of Strange New Worlds, but once I remembered the bit about what it’d be like to shag Yoda, everything else just left my brain. We did talk about the actual Star Trek episode a lot though. I think. Probably […]

  4. 15

    Past Tense

With special guest Adam Richard on board, we set the digression emitters to maximum, and divert all power to the tangential thrusters. We mention Star Trek twice in this episode.

  5. 14

    Carpenter Street

At the behest of a highly disorganised time traveller, Archer and T'Pol rush back in time in an emergency mission to ensure that nothing happens in 2004 Detroit, and succeed!

  6. 13

    11:59

Set in the far distant time of (checks notes) the year 2000, we recount a heart-warming story of how one of Janeway’s ancestors was instrumental in getting a lonely old man to shut down an independent bookshop, give up his home and his dreams, and help a gutsy, heroic corporation to establish a company town. […]

  7. 12

    Future’s End

In this episode of Voyager, The Doctor visits a farm, Harry sits in a chair, Janeway wears a suit, Tom explains feminism to a lady, and Kes skips school to watch soap operas.

  8. 11

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Damo and Mick mark the milestone of reaching the first Star Trek movie by getting sidetracked even more than usual and end up discussing Lost, The X-Files, Superman comics, US late night TV, ship enthusiasts, touch typing, and more! There's more digression than you can poke a nuclear wessel at!

  9. 10

    Tomorrow is Yesterday

A black star flings the Enterprise back to 1969, where they snag an air force captain named Christopher, and get sultry with the computer. Naturally, Damo and Mick are gonna talk about it, in this episode with added hangovers! Klingon jokes, Shatner's fighting, getting the "jab", it's all entirely logical. Don't question it too much.

  10. 9

    Assignment: Earth

In this episode of original recipe Star Trek, April Tatro stars as Isis the cat, who accompanies some dude who teleports around and does plot exposition to a computer. Jim and Spock stand around the background to reassure everyone that this is indeed an episode of Star Trek, and not something else. Damo and Mick are joined by special guest Caili who puts on the red shirt, and they talk an awful lot about Dr Who, Sapphire and Steel, Friends, Buffy, Steven Universe, oh, and also Star Trek.

  11. 8

    Hailing Frequencies Open

In this very special visual episode of How Much for Just the Podcast?, Damo and Mick talk about how the Star Trek timeline is going to intersect with the actual real one this year! Tickets to "Hailing Frequencies Open" a special event to celebrate Picard and friends being on Earth during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival are now on sale! They're cheap, it'll be silly and fun, come! https://www.comedyfestival.com.au/2024/shows/damo-and-mick

  12. 7

    Carbon Creek

In this episode of Enterprise, a Vulcan named Mestral who is wearing a beanie plays a game of pool in a bar on Earth in 1957. Mestral breaks, but initially pots no balls. His human opponent sinks a couple in quick succession, leaving Mestral at a strategic disadvantage. However, Mestral recovers rapidly as the table clears, allowing him multiple clear shots. After equalising his position, he finally calls that he will pot the 8-ball in the corner pocket and does so, winning the game. Then a bunch of other stuff happens.

  13. 6

    Little Green Men

Three unscrupulous men visit mid-20th century Earth and attempt to doom the inhabitants to decades of unfettered capitalism, ever-advancing military technology, and the horrific oppression of living in a society obsessed with profit. Their plans are thwarted and humanity is allegedly spared from this fate. Lucky us!

  14. 5

    Storm Front

In this episode, Damo and Mick talk about Star Wars, Lenovo technical support, Spirk shipping, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Risa holiday experience, how to reboot Mick when he gets stuck, and pretty much anything else except the Enterprise episode "Storm Front" which is theoretically why they sat down to chat in the first place. It's not a big deal though, because the Space Nazis ended up never existing anyway.

  15. 4

The City on the Edge of Forever

In this fantastic episode of classic Star Trek the action never lets up! The gang meets a polystyrene donut named Carl, Doctor McCoy helps the Nazis win, Spock wears a beanie in a beanery, and Jim gets a boner.

  16. 3

    Time’s Arrow

Damo & Mick are back with the next episode of their journey through Star Trek canon in the worst possible way. In this episode, Data’s head falls off and he is mistaken for a Frenchman. Hijinks ensue.

  17. 2

    All Our Yesterdays

In some of the chronologically earliest Star Trek events, Bones and Spock sit in an ice cave while Jim gets accused of witchcraft and is offered some soup.
