    Forest of Light.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/8378578d After clearing a group of demons, I ascended to a height guarded by more demons. My attempt to cleanse the torii gate was interrupted by a Shine Dancer, but I eventually cleared the fog. Finally, I discovered a treasure and reached a beautiful gathering of floating spirits. I thought there was only a Marionette around after taking down the demon last time, but there was another of that kind demon backing her up from the back. I took care of the demon first in stealth. Then I noticed the Marionette was alone, who seemed like she realized I was there, but she was too lazy to look back. I stayed crouched behind her, waiting for the perfect window to close the distance without making a sound and then I took this chance to take her down in stealth. I climbed up some stairs to reach the higher maintenance deck and found two more demons guarding that place. I took down a Rain Slasher first, yeah, in stealth, though she almost noticed me. Then I went for this specialty one, who was lurking around the corner. I moved through the narrow gap to stay out of its vision. I took him down in a stealth move, ensuring the area was completely secured before I turned my attention toward the torii gate. At last I went for the torii gate, and right when I was cleansing it, hoping there were no demons around, things took a dark turn. Suddenly this Shine Dancer appeared with a scary laugh and started attacking me. Now I had to take cover against the fireballs of the Shine Dancer. After taking it down with a series of well-timed elemental weaves, I finally cleansed the torii gate. The thick fog around disappeared along with the flocks of crows, revealing the clear shrine once again in the moonlight. I went inside the small temple structure to check if there were any prizes for me after such a difficult battle. And I only found a bracelet that I equipped immediately. When I thought I had to cleanse a lot more gates before getting to the light source, I noticed I was actually close to the main objective. And when I reached the spot, it looked like thousands of tiny lights, just like fireflies in the forest, dancing in the air. Akito got confused seeing these lights that are floating and asked what they could possibly be in such a corrupted place. KK mentioned they are the spirits that the Hannya are gathering all this time for their grand ritual. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. A Path of Light.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/da53b64e After clearing the bridge, I reached the torii gate, thinned out floating enemies with magical arrows along the way. I used stealth to eliminate a Marionette before cleansing the gate and claiming a reward. My journey continued through a stunning corridor of multiple gates, where I defeated Students of Misery and Pain before facing a final, powerful demon. After clearing the bridge of the initial demonic threats, I jumped on the edge from where I used a Tengu to get closer to the torii gate. Then I noticed there were some Wanderers floating above the torii gate. I didn't want to fight them in a close-quarters brawl after getting there, so I took them all down with my magical arrows from a distance. Even before getting to that specific group of spirits, I noticed there was a Marionette guarding the torii gate from a central position. I stayed low behind a vent, timed my approach to ensure I wouldn't be spotted by the demon. After getting there on that roof, I went to the demon quietly and I took it down in stealth. With the primary guardian removed, the area around the gate became noticeably quieter, allowing me to approach the structure safely. Then I cleansed the gate with a powerful burst of energy and after cleansing it, I found this bracelet as a reward on the altar. I equipped the item. Then I noticed there was another torii gate not so far from my current position. I went there and I found that gate was being guarded by more demons, so I shot down a Marionette, leaving two more demons for next shots. There was a Student of Misery and a Student of Pain who noticed me and ran towards me. I kept my cool and I took them down one by one. Their aggressive tactics were no match for my precise timing and the power of my upgraded elements. Then I cleansed that gate as well, and it looked like that single gate led me to a path full of similar-looking gates. The way they were lined up in a row made a cool scene. I walked through the corridor of light, appreciating the traditional architecture. I was amazed seeing the architecture of that gate, but then I noticed there was this scary demon waiting at the very end. I had to take it down, being extra careful with my movements, as there was another Marionette floating not so far away. I managed to separate them, finishing the larger demon with a core-grab. Ambush on the Bridge.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/b5b580e6 After rescuing spirits from a demonic ambush, I spotted an ominous flock of crows circling a restricted area. I then engaged in a rooftop chase with an Ittan-Momen, successfully capturing it on my second attempt. To reach a distant torii gate, I navigated a bridge guarded by powerful demons. I suddenly found some demons appeared to take some spirits away while I was exploring the alleys of the city. I couldn't let them succeed, so I fought them with my elemental weaving and I saved the spirits before they could be dragged into the underworld. While I was absorbing the spirits into my katashiro, I noticed there was a big flock of crows flying in the distance. They were circling a place close to the light, but that part of the city was still unavailable for me due to the deadly fog. I found an Ittan-Momen after going on top of a roof to scout the surrounding area. It didn't seem like it was too worried about us at first. I started chasing it while it was hovering away across the rooftops, but I failed to catch it for the first time. The spirit went back to its initial spot where I found it, and I started chasing it again with a better understanding of its movement. This time I chased it down successfully, and I found something from the spirit. The reward was a valuable essence that would help me on my journey through the haunted streets. Then I noticed a torii gate on top of a building that was a little far from my location, glowing with a faint blue light. To reach it, I knew I had to cross the nearby bridge to get close to that specific location. But after floating to the bridge, I noticed there were some strong demons guarding the path ahead. I stayed low, realizing that a direct frontal assault would be extremely dangerous given their numbers and the limited space on the bridge. I noticed there were two demons that I didn't get to know the name of yet, but they were scary and projected a heavy aura. I took one of them down first in stealth as it was a little far from the others. Then there was this Marionette who was nearby the other strong demon. I took a good chance to take it down while the larger demon was turned around. The last demon on the bridge was walking around. I took some time and waited behind a car, staying completely out of its line of sight until it had its back turned. I found the perfect opportunity to take it down as well, ending the encounter and cleared the bridge. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Escaping the Nightmare.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/3ab7bf7c Akito navigated a surreal, shaking world by walking across floating umbrellas to escape a giant version of Rinko. After returning to reality and breaking the spell connecting Rinko to the Hannya, he learned that the spirit had escaped. Rinko later contacted him via a telephone booth with vital information regarding the fog. I kept following Rinko's trail through the surreal world, and it looked like this world was shaking me at its highest intensity. I watched the distorted landscape carefully, trying to keep my balance as the shadows danced across the shifting architecture of this nightmare realm. I was seeing two portraits that looked real in the middle of the chaos, one with Rinko and the other one featuring an aggressive cat. I went through a portrait where a giant version of Rinko was waiting for me in the distance. Her scale was terrifying, she looked like a ghostly guardian watching my every move. When I reached these unfinished stairs, the view ahead was truly breathtaking and unsettling. From what I could see, a giant version of Rinko was turning to the other side while there were hundreds of umbrellas floating around in the empty air. After checking around for any other possible route, I understood I had to use those umbrellas as a path below my foot to get to the other side where a ladder was waiting for me. It was a haunting sight, and I could see the giant version of Rinko right beside me while I was walking on those floating umbrellas. And at last, I reached the ladder which I used to get out of this surreal world and return to a stable reality. The climb felt long, but as I reached the top, the distorted colors of the void began to fade. Then I noticed Rinko was trying to hold the Hannya's influence at bay with the last of her strength. KK asked her to hold her back a little longer while we were reaching her. After reaching her, I had to try this spell breaker to separate Rinko from the Hannya. Then the whole frame became white with a blinding flash. We were back outside, outside of that haunted building from where I had originally found the trail. But Rinko was not around so KK suggested we should find her immediately, sensing that her presence was still lingering somewhere nearby. I started looking around and found the park where I broke the spell, and there was this spectral source left behind on the ground. From what I understood, the Hannya had broken off from Rinko and bolted into the shadows. The connection was severed, but the threat was far from over as the spirit was now wandering free. We heard a telephone ringing close by, so I went for this telephone booth where Akito could finally talk to Rinko. She mentioned she picked up a few things from that whole experience and she now knew where the fog around was coming from. She filled Akito in with that information through that telephone, providing us with our next lead. Rinko hung up the phone, and after coming out of the telephone booth, Akito noticed the lighting source started fading. KK suggested we should get on those new torii gates fast to reach our next destination before the darkness completely consume the path ahead. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. The Disappearance of Rinko.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/c60c5dd0 I reached a building Erika suggested and recovered KK's case files before encountering a psychic trail of Rinko. After witnessing Rinko being abducted by a mysterious woman from the hospital, the world shifted into a surreal nightmare. I pursued Rinko's fading vision through a distorted version of the neighborhood. So after absorbing some spirits around the area to build up my strength, I went for the building that Erika showed me on the map. It looked like something terrible had happened there, with the atmosphere feeling heavy and the entrance looking completely neglected. After getting inside the lobby, the first thing I found were some of KK's old case files sitting on a dusty desk. He asked me to keep them close as they could be useful for understanding the supernatural threats we were facing. When I was climbing the stairs of the building to reach the higher floors, I found the balcony area completely blocked. I stood back and used my powers to cleanse the area. The path was finally clear, allowing us to proceed toward the apartment where the disturbance was strongest. KK mentioned that this was definitely the place we were looking for, and Akito understood that something felt very off about the air in the hallway. I took a deep breath and went inside this door, ready for whatever was waiting on the other side. In that apartment, I found a glowing psychic trail that I interacted with to see what had happened recently. I found a shadow of Rinko sitting on the floor feeding a cat, but there was someone else standing in the shadows behind her. Akito mentioned that he remembered this someone from the hospital as she was clearly with the Hannya group. The vision became clearer, and she was shown grabbing Rinko. It was a terrifying realization that the enemy was already one step ahead of us and had been monitoring Rinko's movements. Akito mentioned they must have taken Rinko when she came here looking for Erika earlier. I had to look for her now and eventually found her vision in a distorted part of the apartment. I watched as Rinko was shifting into that Hannya lady and then both of them disappeared. The whole place changed for me as well, as if the physical world was being overwritten by a nightmare. I noticed a massive cat and the whole neighborhood looked totally different. It was a surreal landscape that defied all logic, and I had to find my bearings in this new reality. I started looking for Rinko and I saw her from afar through the haze, but she couldn't hold the Hannya's influence for long. So I kept on that trail and I had to cleanse and clear my path on the way to reach her. When I was moving toward her to pull her back, the whole place shifted into something even stranger. It looked exactly like the visions Akito had been seeing every now and then, where time and space seemed to collapse into a single point of chaos. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Taking Over a Bridge.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/189bf24c I navigated toward a mysterious light source, taking down several demons with stealth and talismans. After a rooftop battle with a Student of Misery and a successful archery session to clear a bridge, I received an urgent call from Rinko about Hannya. Finally, a vision of Erika appeared and pointed us toward a new building. I started navigating around the dark alleys and decided to get to the source of the light first to see what was happening. On my way, I took down another rugged walker who was guarding a trapped spirit in the corner of a courtyard. Then I found a rugged walker and a rain slasher guarding a street so close by that it seemed impossible to take them both down in stealth. I took down the rain slasher in stealth and the rugged walker didn't even notice me taking down his pal right behind him. I took this chance and took him down in stealth as well, ending the threat before an alarm could be raised. Akito tried a talisman during the encounter, though I don't know why he chose that moment to test his charms on a sure shot. I climbed on top of a roof from where I noticed some demons who were guarding a bridge in the distance. I tried to attack them from afar using my elemental powers, but the distance was too great and my shots failed to land with enough force to do any real damage. Instead of being weakened, all the demons from the bridge saw me and started attacking me. One of the students of Misery jumped on the roof I was in, her movements fast and unnatural as she closed the distance. I switched to another roof where the student of Misery followed me with relentless aggression. I took her down easily once we were separated from the pack, as the other demons couldn't see me or help her from their position on the bridge. Then I used my bow and arrows to take down the rest of the demons on the bridge. The arrows flew true, hitting their marks one by one until the path was finally clear. I just remembered my gear and asked myself why I was not using this fine equipment all this time when it was so effective. I jumped down on the bridge and I stopped there for a moment to check around the area. The silence was eerie after the sounds of the battle had faded away. I was getting close to the source of the light and suddenly I heard a telephone ringing loudly in the distance. I went for it, following the sound to a glowing blue telephone booth standing alone on the sidewalk. It was Rinko who called me to ask what was taking me so long to reach the objective. She mentioned that Hannya was going to get exactly what he wanted if I didn't hurry up and finish the task. After the call ended, we saw something that looked like Erika. She didn't speak, but she pointed towards a large building nearby and was clearly trying to tell us something important. Her ghostly figure flickered before she vanished, leaving us with a new direction to follow. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Spirit Harvest.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/4b6eca7d After reaching Shibuya station and defeating a student of misery, I followed a vision of Rinko to find a locker key. After being ambushed by Shine dancers near a Torii gate, I returned to defeat them and cleared a graveyard of demons using stealth and quick reflexes. I found a student of misery after reaching Shibuya station. I took her down really fast with my powers and absorbed some spirits that were floating nearby. It felt good to clear the entrance and gather more energy before heading deeper into the massive station complex. Then I found a vision of Rinko and it looked like she was using the spirit transmission lens to get around through the telephone booth to stay hidden from the visitors. I watched her ghostly form interact with the equipment, realizing she had been moving through the city in ways I had not yet mastered. After absorbing some more stray spirits on my way, I reached the lockers of the station. I searched the area and found a key and a note left behind by Rinko. The message was meant for KK in case she could not find Erika, providing a vital clue for my next objective in this haunted city. Then I fast traveled to the Torii gate I had cleansed last to save some time. After climbing onto a nearby roof to get a better view, I noticed two demons standing below at a graveyard. They seemed to be guarding something important, and I stayed low to plan my approach without being spotted. Before I could even approach the graveyard, I was suddenly ambushed by two Shine dancers. I didn't see them as a big problem at first, but they moved with incredible speed and took me down real fast with their rhythmic attacks. I hit the ground before I could even draw enough power to defend myself. I was respawned right at that Torii gate where I had fast traveled last time. This time I stopped there for a moment to check around the area more carefully. I didn't want to get surprised again, so I looked for any shimmering air or sounds. I climbed up on the rooftop again with the help of a Tengu that was hovering nearby. Those Shine dancers came to ambush me once more as soon as I reached the roof, but I didn't give them the chance to strike this time. Instead, I stayed aggressive and took them both down before they could start their dance properly. Then I checked on the demons below in the graveyard once the rooftops were safe. I jumped down to get close to them. The air felt heavy with spirit energy, and I knew I had to move with absolute silence to win. I had been ensured the rain slasher on the other side would not see me fighting this one, so I went for this rugged walker and took him down in stealth with a quick strike. After he vanished, I absorbed the spirit he was guarding. Then I jumped over towards the rain slasher, hoping I could take her down in a stealth move as well. However, she somehow saw me at the last second and started attacking me with her blades. I took her down after a brief struggle, just before she almost took me down. We'll continue in another post. Toward Shibuya Station.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/5e133036 While searching for a trail on the street, I was ambushed by a fast Lamentation demon. After defeating it and finding an audio recording from Rinko, I headed toward Shibuya Station to find a rental locker. On the way, I used stealth and core extraction to clear out Rainwalkers and other dangerous spirits. I moved towards the usual street to find a trail of the objective, but on my way, I was surprised by a demon called a Lamentation. I had to fight it anyhow because it blocked my path forward. This demon was too fast and was moving across me like a scary spirit or a ghost, which was actually spooking me as I tried to track its movements. The fight was intense because the creature would not stay still for a second. Fortunately, I could take it down using my powers and precise timing. I watched as the spirit finally dissolved into the air, leaving the street quiet once again. I took a moment to recover my energy before moving deeper. Then I cleansed that area where I found some belongings that looked like someone had dropped them in a hurry. Among the items, there was an audio device with a voice record from Rinko. It gave us a very important hint about where we should go next, making our mission feel much more urgent. For the next part of the mission, we have to head to Shibuya Station because there are rental lockers there that they used for dead drops. It sounded like we were going to put something there for someone else to find. As I started heading there, I suddenly noticed a demon parole on the street, but I didn't make the same mistake this time. I just stayed away and let it approach. While I was on my way towards Shibuya Station, I noticed there were a bunch of demons blocking the main road. I decided to be careful and took down a Rainwalker in stealth at first. Then a Student of Misery came running towards me with a terrifying speed. I reacted quickly and managed to pull its core straight out of its body to take it down instantly. There was another Rainwalker close by who was like watching over the transit of the street near the station entrance. I went close to him and I took him down in a stealth as well. Barrier Down.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/f336ae74 As we were trapped inside a barrier, I had to destroy supporting stones while fighting off two dangerous Kuchisake. After the barrier dropped, KK pointed out a unique telephone booth that required a special card. A helpful dog led me to the card, allowing me to listen to a recording from Ed about a parking lot separation. As we were inside the barriers, we had to look for some stones supporting this seal before we got sealed in forever. I started looking for those stones carefully, checking every corner of the small area. The air felt heavy and the purple glow of the barrier made it hard to see the dark objects hidden in the shadows. Then I noticed there were two Kuchisake around inside the barrier, and I went after one of them immediately. I tried to do it silently and quietly to avoid a direct fight, but the demon saw me at the last second. I had to fight the hard way, using my powers to blast the spirit until I finally took it down. With the first demon gone, I started looking for stones and destroying them as fast as I could. I used my spectral vision to highlight the objects that were keeping the barrier active. There was this other Kuchisake whom I went after next. I thought I was able to take it down in an instant with a stealth strike, but I noticed I couldn't do it again. I had to do it the hard way again. After the second Kuchisake was gone, it got much easier for me to find the remaining stones. After destroying all of them, the barriers finally got down and the path forward was clear again. Then KK mentioned there is a telephone booth with a different color mark than the others. He said we would need to connect to it to get more information. I found the booth after cleansing a nearby area. It stood out from the rest of the telephone booth with its unique color. After reaching the telephone booth, I understood we were going to need a telephone card to use it. I started looking around for any sign of one. Suddenly, a dog appeared and asked me to follow it. I listened to the instructions and started running after the animal through the quiet alleyways. After following the dog to a specific place, I actually found the card that I was needing to connect to the booth. It was hidden in plain sight where I would have never looked without help. After exploring more and transferring some spirits, I went to the special telephone booth. I used the card and found a recording of Ed. He said he was separated from the others at the parking lot near the Jizo street. This gave me a clear direction for where to go next. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Cleansing the Gate.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/183a92e4 While Rinko worked on her device, I fought off demons along with a relentless walker. After several failed attempts and restarts, I finally defeated the horde and cleared the way for Rinko to finish her task. Once she succeeded, the Torii gate appeared, but cleansing it triggered a mysterious city barrier. The fight began against some rainwalkers, so I started taking them down one by one, guessing this would be an easy fight while Rinko kept working on the device behind me. After taking down a lot of demons, there came this relentless walker with a big hammer. This new enemy made the fight a lot harder for me because his attacks were very powerful and hard to block. While I was fighting the relentless walker, I noticed some students of miseries were trying to take down Rinko. They were ignoring me and focusing entirely on her and the device. I realized I had to split my attention between the big demon and the smaller ones to keep Rinko safe. I went for the students of miseries to stop them, but the relentless walker was there just to stop me. While he blocked my path, the other demons continued to attack Rinko. I eventually got overwhelmed by the walker's strength and died, realizing I needed a better strategy for the next try. At the restart, I started the fight again with more focus. I began by taking down some rainwalkers quickly to clear the space around the device. I knew the bigger threats were coming soon, so I tried to save my energy for the harder parts of the battle. Then there came more rainwalkers along with some students of miseries and some paper dolls. They were all working together on taking down Rinko at once. I had to move between the groups and take care of all of them while keeping an eye out for the hammer demon. When I thought I was doing good and had the smaller demons under control, the relentless walker came back. He caught me by surprise with a heavy strike and it took me down again. On the next restart, I got a lot more cautious with my movements. After taking down some regular demons, I went straight for the relentless walker. This time I made sure I had enough power and health to back me up, and I took down the big demon real fast. As I took care of all the demons, Rinko was also done with the device. She mentioned that the local source of the fog should become visible now. I noticed that the Torii gate I needed to cleanse to get to the source of the light was finally visible. I ran to the Torii gate real fast to finish the mission before more demons could arrive. I cleansed it with my powers, hoping there would not be any more complications next. The air began to clear for a moment as the light returned to the area. But right after I cleansed the Torii gate, something unexpected happened. A part of the city around me was suddenly blocked by a powerful barrier in a sphere form. I looked up at the glowing dome and realized that my journey was far from over. The Hidden Truth.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/07eaee6a I fought demons to reach a circuit board and moved to the floor below to find Rinko. After navigating creepy visions and fighting a rainwalker, I transferred spirits via a telephone. Rinko explained how demons use ether levels to hide their fog-spreading gates, leading to a tense moment with a dangerous device. Right after I cleansed my path towards the circuit board, a group of demons appeared to stop me. They moved quickly to block my way even before I could reach the controls. I had to stand my ground and take care of them first. Then I went for the circuit to open up the door to move forward. KK mentioned that he heard the shutter open for us, and he added that Rinko was waiting on a floor below our current position. After getting to the floor below, I started having a very creepy vision again. The air felt heavy and the walls seemed to shift, which confirmed that we were on the right track. KK mentioned that we should be happy about this sign, as it meant we were getting closer to the source of the trouble. When I was walking ahead through these creepy visions, KK mentioned that people with an affinity for Ether can sometimes see things that normal people cannot. The world around me looked distorted and strange, and I kept my guard up as I moved through the hallway. This time, I had to fight a rainwater while I was trapped inside the vision. Unlike the other times where the visions were just memories, a rainwalker came to stop me here. I kept moving ahead through these scary surroundings as the vision continued to change. Suddenly, some floating objects moved together to make figures that started showing me the path ahead. At last, I came out of the strange vision and returned to a normal atmosphere. There, I found a telephone nearby and used it to transfer all the spirits I had observed earlier. I finally reached Rinko, who explained that the Torii gates only become visible at a high ambient ether level. She was working on a special device that messes with ether levels to stop that from happening. This was exactly how the demons were spreading the deadly fog in secret throughout the mortal world. Rinko mentioned that the demons must have seen us through the cleansing gates. KK wanted to smash the gate to get out of there quickly, but Rinko warned him against it. While Rinko was working carefully with the device, KK suddenly sensed company nearby. He suggested that Rinko should push pause on the technical stuff and prepare for a fight, as we were no longer alone in the room. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. The Corrupted Core.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/ed623c4a I was ambushed by demons while heading toward the source of the light. I reached a locked building and used spectral vision to find a way inside through the upper floors. After fighting cursed spirits and solving puzzles, I found a hidden corrupted tree core and cleansed it to move forward. On my way toward the source of the light, I was suddenly ambushed by a group of demons. They started chasing me through the dark streets even though I did not want to fight them at first. As the demons were right on to me, I decided to stop and stand my ground. I started fighting them using my powers and some special talismans to keep them back. I took all of them down one by one until the area was safe again. After the fight, I stopped to look at this hauntingly beautiful scene. I saw a bright red moon hanging in the sky, and a dead tree nearby made it look like a perfect frame for a photo. When I at last reached the building where I was suggested to go, I started looking for the source of the light. I walked around the base of the structure, but there was no open way to get inside from the ground floor. Using my spectral vision, I found out that Rinko was actually here. My vision confirmed that burglars usually tried to break in from the upper stories of this building. I started looking for ways to climb up this building. By using some tall ladders I found, I at last reached a high point where I found an open door waiting for me. I stepped inside the upper floor, and KK mentioned that Rinko must be around here somewhere close by. I began my search through the dark hallways. On my way through the building, I found a locked door and a cursed tree. My path was blocked with that cursed tree and the other side was locked by a door. After cleansing the tree, I found a switchboard that was hidden in the corner. I used it to open up the gate that was blocking my path. I found another locked gate, but this time it was not so easy to crack the puzzle. The control panel was stuck and would not work because it was not closed properly. I had to look around the area to find what was stopping it, but the panel felt like it was stuck near some heavy obstacles. While I was looking for a way to get to the control panel, I found something very strange called a Nurikabe. It was a spirit wall that was hiding the path. I used my power to absorb or release the creature, which finally revealed what was hidden behind it. At last, I found the core of the corrupted tree that was hidden behind the spirit wall. I had to shoot it through a small window to cleanse the place. Once the core was gone, the corruption cleared away, and I could finally get to the control panel to open the next door. Calls from the Past.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/3c075f2b After fighting some demons on my way, I intercepted a call from KK's friend, Ed. After receiving intel about a mysterious complex, I scouted the city from the rooftops. I eventually purified a street blocked by a corrupted tree, neutralizing the demonic guardians to clear his path. After taking down the Paper Doll, I had to pause and develop a solid strategy for a Rain Slasher blocking my path. These enemies are fast, so I needed to time my approach perfectly to avoid a direct confrontation. I carefully observed the Rain Slasher's movement patterns. Once I was sure the coast was clear, I moved in for a silent stealth takedown, neutralizing the threat before she even knew I was there. Taking down the Rainwalkers turned into a chaotic situation. They detected my presence and immediately began throwing objects at me, forcing me to stay active while returning fire. After dealing enough damage to expose them, I successfully extracted the cores from both Rainwalkers. I had to chase the second one quite a distance down the street to finish the job. While walking down the street, I spotted a Rainwalker that looked completely exhausted on its guard. I took it down quickly, which felt like a mercy given how much it seemed to be struggling. I reached another graveyard where a Paper Doll was guarding a cluster of lost spirits. I engaged and defeated the guardian, then absorbed the freed spirits into my Katashiro to keep them safe. I found a telephone booth where the phone was ringing so loudly I could hear it from a block away. This time Akito took the lead, finding Ed, an old friend of KK on the other end of the line. Akito allowed KK to speak to Ed through his hand. Ed provided critical information about a nearby complex that seemed to be the source of the mysterious light we had been tracking. I spotted a Tengu nearby and used it as a grappling hook to reach the rooftops. From there, I got a clear visual of a street below that was completely blocked by a massive corrupted tree and several demonic guardians. I jumped back down and silently took out a Rainwalker near a car. Just on the other side, I noticed a Passenger standing perfectly still, seemingly mesmerized by the corrupted tree. I moved in and took down the Passenger before it could react. With the guardians gone, I purified the corrupted tree, clearing the blockage from the street and opening the way toward my next objective. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Purifying the Estate.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/5fe23e6c After fending off Rainwalker and reclaiming the captured souls, I survived a high-energy ambush and used a Tengu to scout the city from above. I eventually reached a demon-guarded petrol station to begin a stealthy infiltration. While I was busy taking photographs of the area, a Student of Misery managed to grab one of the spirit boxes. I had to get serious immediately to make sure they didn't get a chance to do the same with the remaining one. Reinforcements arrived in the form of Rainwalkers who tried to stop me and seize the box. I kept them from rotating toward the objective, fighting back with everything in my arsenal to keep the spirits from being taken. Once the Rainwalkers were dealt with, I noticed a lone Student of Misery still trying to siphon the spirits away. I engaged her and another companion, focusing my power to end their interference for good. After confirming the area was safe, I broke open the locked box. I absorbed the trapped spirits into my katashiro to ensure they reached safety away from the demons. Moving ahead, I was suddenly ambushed by a Student of Misery and a Student of Pain. Both were incredibly energetic and aggressive, forcing me to back off and before I could counter-attack and take them both down. I found a telephone booth and went inside to empty my katashiro. Right after the transfer, Akito heard Mari's voice again, where she sounded distressed, saying she couldn't breathe and complaining about the intense heat. I spotted a Tengu and used it as a grappling hook to reach the rooftops. From this vantage point, I took down a wanderer and absorbed several spirits that had been spelled into the open air. I reached a petrol station that was being heavily guarded by several demons. A massive corrupted tree loomed over the site, marking it as a major point of Hannya's influence. The guardians somehow sensed my presence and began searching the area. I took cover until they started to return to their posts, then moved in for a silent takedown on a Paper Doll to start clearing the station. We'll continue in another post. Thanks for reading. Wrath Unleashed.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/b2db0bb9 After cleansing the Torii Gate, I used a telephone booth to transfer collected spirits while hearing Mari's haunting plea. I cleared a graveyard using stealth against Rain Walkers and a Paper Doll, but a Rain Slasher forced a direct confrontation in the streets. After reclaiming more souls, I discovered Students of Misery caging spirits at a nearby street. After cleansing the Torii Gate, I headed back to the telephone booth that was previously hidden by the thick fog. I noticed a couple of demons loitering nearby, guarding the area. Before engaging the enemies, I ducked into the booth to transfer all the spirits I was carrying into the catacombs. While inside, Akito heard Mari's voice crying out that she didn't want to die, calling for her brother in a heartbreaking moment. I left the booth and took cover behind a nearby fence. I waited patiently for one of the Hen Walkers to turn its back and walk away, giving me the perfect opening to pick them off one by one. I successfully eliminated both Hen Walkers and then moved toward a group of Paper Dolls. I managed to take all of them down using stealth, keeping the graveyard quiet for as long as possible. I spotted a Rain Slasher and tried to close in for another stealth kill. Unfortunately, she detected my movement at the last second, forcing me to abandon my plan and back off. The demon chased me out of the graveyard and onto the open street, even landing a successful hit on me. She didn't have a chance once I unleashed my wrath, and I ended the fight quickly. I returned to the graveyard and found another Rain Slasher attempting to pull a spirit from a grave. I intervened immediately, taking the spirit for myself instead of letting the demon have it. I noticed several spirits nearby that were locked away by magical spells. I spent some time breaking each seal and absorbing the spirits to keep them safe from the Visitors. I absorbed a few more wandering souls on my way to a street. There, I witnessed Students of Misery using their powers to siphon energy away and trap spirits inside glowing cages. Cleansing the Skyline.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/6c3da404 After leaving the temple, I used a Tengu to grapple onto rooftops and hunted for strength lightning. I navigated the city's fog to transfer spirits via phone booths and encountered a ghost parade. After fighting off a Shine Dancer, I cleansed a rooftop Torii gate, revealing that the mysterious light originated from the forest park. The first thing I did after leaving the temple was use a Tengu as a grappling hook to reach the rooftops. I missed this when I didn't have powers, so I was determined to get to the higher ground. After a failed jump, I stayed near a local spirit who asked me to follow him. He promised to show me some hidden coins tucked away in the alleyways. I spotted a Rain Walker nearby who was completely oblivious to my presence. I crept up behind him and performed a quick stealth takedown to clear the path. I gathered some spirits around the city and looked for a phone booth to transfer them. Unfortunately, the nearest booth was sitting right on the edge of the dangerous fog zone, making the mission a bit more tense. In the meantime, I spent some time grappling between buildings and slaying a few demons that crossed my path. Each fight felt like I was getting a better handle on Akito's abilities. I noticed the ghost parade sitting right in front of me. I quickly opened photo mode to get Akito in the frame with it, but the parade was camera-shy and disappeared the moment I tried to take the shot. Suddenly, I was ambushed by a Shine Dancer and a small group of demons. I had to pivot my strategy quickly to take care of the airborne threat before the ground troops could overwhelm me. I used a Tengu to reach the top of a particularly tall building. From that height, I was able to spot a Torii gate sitting on a distant roof that needed cleansing. Once I reached that roof, I had to defeat another Shine Dancer guarding the area. After the fight, I cleansed the gate, which cleared the surrounding fog and allowed me to see the source of the mysterious light more clearly. After the gate was clear, KK pointed out that the light seemed to be coming from the forest park. He was curious about what was happening out there and urged me to hurry before things got worse. A New Chapter Begins.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/f7a90787 After Akito and KK shared a brief, awkward moment over the portrait, they rejoined. They immediately faced a gang of demons, where I tested a powerful new ability, and grabbed multiple cores at once. After seeing a ritual light in the sky, I cleared the local fog to begin the search for Mari. Akito showed KK the portrait, but KK didn't seem to care much. The two of them started acting a bit silly together, even though Akito was making it clear he wasn't going to let KK off the hook easily this time. KK understood that Akito was his only path to salvation. He merged back into Akito's body, and our hero finally felt his primary powers return in full force. Akito let out a scream as KK's energy surged through him. The noise was loud enough to spook a large flock of crows nearby before he stepped out of the temple, ready for a fight. Upon leaving the temple, Akito found a gang of demons waiting for him. KK sounded eager for the fight, mentioning that they were going to show these demons a good time. I used a cool new ability that seemed to stop all the demons in their tracks at once. It was clear this power made it much easier to expose and grab their cores. Since I had already upgraded my abilities for multiple takedowns, I started pulling out several cores at the same time. It was incredibly fun to see all the spirits being gathered at once. Suddenly, an explosion sent a beam of light shooting into the sky. KK warned that a ritual was starting, signaling that the situation in Tokyo was becoming even more critical. A new chapter began as KK urged me to move fast to save Mari. Before we could head toward the light, I had to cleanse the area and clear away the thick fog blocking our path. Breaking the Seal.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=hrichakar/fc0b14ef I returned to the temple to clear out the remaining demons. After a high-risk fight with a Rain Slasher and using my new arrows to clear the Torii Gate, I finally reached the golden door. I opened the mysterious box, successfully freeing KK from his prison. I went back to find the male Student of Misery, but he was nowhere to be seen. Instead, I ran into a Forlorn and took him down quickly to clear the immediate area. I noticed the Student of Misery had gotten himself stuck beside a tree. This was the perfect opening, so I moved in and went straight for his core while he was unable to fight back. As I continued through the temple toward KK, a Rain Slasher blocked my path. I knew I had to deal with her if I wanted to reach the inner sanctum. I took a massive risk going for the Rain Slasher's core. It was a close call, and as the gameplay shows, she nearly forced me into a retreat before I managed to finish the job. I found a cache of arrows and claimed them for later use. I knew they would come in handy before I reached the Torii Gate where KK was waiting on the other side. The Torii Gate was heavily guarded by a group of Rain Walkers. Stealth wasn't an option here, so I put my new arrows to work and took them all down from a distance. Once the area was clear, I had to cleanse the Torii Gate. With the corruption gone, I was finally able to approach the large door at the heart of the temple. After opening the temple door, Akito walked toward the box where KK had been trapped for far too long. The atmosphere was tensed as I prepared for what came next. Akito wasn't entirely sure how to proceed, so he reached out and touched the box. Something triggered immediately, forcing him to step back as the mechanism began to shift. I watched as the box opened and KK finally emerged. Our mission to reunite was a success, and we were ready to take on whatever the city had waiting for us next. Thanks for reading.
