It may be a little out of character for me to be genuine or topical, especially considering the general tone of our discussions on this show. Nevertheless I feel compelled to clarify that this episode was recorded well before the tragedy involving Mr. Reiner & his family. This is, of course, why we did not discuss the event on the show. However, even if there was an opportunity to do so, I do not feel qualified to even attempt to address the topic. So we are presenting the episode as is, because even if somewhat meager, the only tribute I am qualified to present is an earnest discussion of what this beloved work of his meant to me.
