    Episode Eleven - Dr. Patrice Jackson

    In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie interviews Dr. Patrice Buckner Jackson. She holds such a special place in my heart and we got to reconnect IN PERSON after many years! Dr. Jackson, known in her community as Dr. PBJ, gives educators the strategies for accomplishing purposeful work without burnout. Dr. PBJ is an educator of almost 25 years and an Executive Coach for more than 10 years. She holds a doctoral degree in Education Administration and has served in executive leadership at colleges and universities, and facilitates leadership training as a faculty member for the Center for Creative Leadership.  She has worked in higher education at many levels, from student assistant to President’s Cabinet and is the recipient of several professional awards and accolades.  She founded EduCare Training and Consulting, LLC out of a purpose pouring in to those who pour out so much.     Episode Eight - Jon Irvan

    In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie interviews her husband Jon Irvan. Jon and Natalie have been married for 11 years and have 2 daughters, Harper and Adeline. When Harper was a year old, she began having seizures. She was eventually diagnosed with a rare form of Epilepsy. November is Epilepsy Awareness month, so for this episode they share their daughter Harper’s journey and how it has affected them as a family. They discuss the dark moments, but also the faithfulness of God as their sustainer and provider in every circumstance.

    Episode Seven - Jenna Adams

    In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie interviews Jenna Adams. Jenna is a graduate of Liberty University, where she met her husband, Daniel, who she’s been married to for 7 years. She’s worked in IT in higher education for 13 years, and is currently an IT Business Analyst. A few years ago, Jenna and her husband followed a calling that God placed on our hearts for foster care, and have been licensed foster parents for over 2 years. She shares the rollercoaster of a journey, and the realities of loving and inviting children into a safe space at their home. This episode is for everyone as we all have a part to play in supporting parents who are fostering and the children in their care. Jenna is so encouraging and this episode challenged me as a parent- to be obedient to God is always worth it.

    Episode Six - Dr. Kain Weaver

    In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie interviews Dr. Kain Weaver. Kain is a psychiatrist, stroke survivor, brain injury advocate, exercise enthusiast, and a Swiftie. In 2019, his life changed in an instant when he had an AVM rupture. Kain tells the miraculous story of his life saving surgeries, and the raw emotions and pain of putting his life on hold to heal. In contrast, he describes the new perspective he has as a doctor, and the way he’s continuing to persevere by thriving in every area of his life. Kain is currently living in Tampa.     In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie speaks with Dr. David Vandewalker. Dr. V has served as the Coordinator of Performing Arts for the Fulton County Schools in Atlanta and band director at Georgia State University and Harrison High School (GA). Dr. Vandewalker currently is the executive director for the Servant Leadership Association for Music, an evaluator for the MFA National Festival, and the Executive Director for Conn Selmer Booster Community. Dr. V was Natalie's High School Band director and they sit down together for the first time in 15 years to discuss lessons learned in his vast experience as an educator.     Episode Four - Sonia Dismukes

    In this episode of the "I See You" Podcast, Natalie speaks with Sonia Dismukes. Sonia is an incredible wife and Mom and co-operates Boulder Homes with her husband Matthew, which is a custom residential construction company. Sonia is also the founder of the non-profit, Saylor's Light, which provides memory boxes to hospitals for families who experience the sudden loss of a baby to remind them they’re not alone. This was a perfectly timed episode as October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. Whether you have experienced the sudden loss of a baby or know someone who has, this episode has some great advice on how to navigate that type of situation.
