Impromptu Who

On this new (finally!) episode of Impromptu Who, Colin and Brian get to dig into an episode from the modern era of Doctor Who! Unfortunatly, it's got poor storytelling, bad pseudo-science that's never fully explained and a unnecessary love story forced in out of nowhere (wait...I thought we left all that behind in Classic Who...WTF?!). We're creeping in Caliburn House, and the Doctor's just realized his proton pack's on the fritz as we review the episode "Hide"! On this Pertwee-centric, and again, unnecessarily drawn-out episode of Impromptu Who, Colin and Brian discuss all seven episodes of "Inferno" (the final serial in which we feel like we've stared directly into the Time Vortex). We discuss the Doctor attempting to escape his Earth exile, but wibbily-wobblies his way into an alternate dimension where Britain is run by an authoritarian regime similar to "1984" or a particular German variety. Colin just wants a simple explanation of the poorly-explained pseudo-science, whereas Brian is just tired of 7-episode serials (SPOILER: this is the last one, we promise).
