El-Cid Trevon Strickland (born December 25, 1990),known by his stage name IM$YD (or VEEZUP),is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is one of the three-man supergroup “MC” including successful hip hop artists Cooly Dre and RashOdd Tonesy. In 2009, The Trio began recording music with IM$YD being the group’s producer. He is one of St.Louis’s born and raised next promising hip hop acts. IM$YD would state that his style is influenced by great musicians like Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay-Z judging by his choice of samples, and quantity of material he continues to pump out. In 2012, IM$YD was introduced to Otis Woodard, founder and CEO of Soundcity Entertainment LLC. Otis provided a platform for IM$YD’s musical works, a consistent web of shows and promotional events, and a an unshakable support system.
