Erik Kelly, a seasoned real estate professional, wears a number of hats in his activities. David Milarch, founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, is an icon in the world of restoration of old growth forests. He and his team have archived and cloned some of the oldest and largest redwoods and giant sequoias in the world, along with a number of other tree species. He has appeared in a number of TED Talks, and has the attention of news media on a global platform, from CNN to the BBC, and has been written up in some of the most notable publications in the world, including The New York Times and National Geographic. He is truly a change maker for the better on this planet to save and regenerate the strongest genetics of old growth trees to help reforest the planet. Listen in as you will find this a heart felt talk of the most sincere efforts to really make a lasting difference on the planet for generations to come. The photo seen here is from the San Francisco Presidio new champion tree planting, where kids from the local tree school (yes, tree school) flocked around David like he was Santa Claus. This is one of many projects championed by Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, not only to plant champion trees, but to inspire children to understand the impact that these tree plantings have for the betterment of the planet.
