A need to be free

I actually wrote this and recorded this in the span of about 30 minutes, so it's not great. However, it's the first song I've actual written with actual lyrics that i'm not absolutely cringing at so I've uploaded it for posterity.

This is my first attempt at a fully custom Doctor Who theme. It may be somewhat rubbish, but I'll get better as I go along :)

With this track, I wanted to invoke the mystery and awe of what it would be like to explore the universe. Thanks No Man's Sky for the inspiration.

I got sad so sometimes making music makes me feel better.

6 months later..... and It's almost done. Still quite a bit of tweaking needs to be done with it, but I'm starting to get to a point where I'm happy with it. :)

I was watch AMC's Halt and Catch Fire, and I was super impressed with the work of Paul Haslinger on the score of the show, so I wanted to do something inspired by that. CTRL+ALT+DEL

Hey guys! I went and saw Captain America: Civil War! And while the movie was AMAZING, the soundtrack was lackluster, especially compared to the other two soundtracks in the franchise. So I decided to take a shot at it. What you're listening to is a reworking of the "Taking A Stand" theme from the Winter Soldier soundtrack, but retooled to closer fit the movie's core ideas: Betrayal, Sacrifice, Friendship, Duty. I also got to use my new brass samples on this, so I hope you like :D <3 - Ian
