Kayla and Mel dive headfirst into nostalgia since life is stressful right now, talking about the heartthrobs they still haven't gotten over from their childhood and the movies that made them. Kayla had some of her son's Danimals this week and has some serious thoughts, and Mel discusses how ready she is for hockey season...it's a sports podcast now.

Kayla and Mel discuss Thanksgiving appetizers and struggle with the difference between Gruyere and Brie cheeses. Mel reveals why she's no longer a fan of office romance, and Kayla tries to decide which celeb the modern-day Cher. Both Kayla and Mel did their homework and watched the Martha Stewart documentary, and let's just say both have strong opinions (#marthaforever).

Kayla and Mel are both fighting some serious cold congestion as they share their opinions on when is too early to decorate for Christmas, why they miss the joy that was having a flip phone, and how our generation is in the midst of some hardcore nostalgia for the 90's. Kayla gives an update on her Gossip Girl rewatch (her opinions have changed dramatically on a certain Mr. Bass) and Mel tells everyone about her short-story video app obsession (an obsession Kayla makes fun of her for).

Kayla and Mel share their wildest Uber rides and Kayla discusses her feelings rewatching the millennial classic, Gossip Girl. Mel questions their friendship since Kayla isn't a huge fan of Chuck Bass (at the moment, Kayla is still only in season one and things can change). Mel has a hot take on things being underrated, and Kayla questions the youth and stands her ground on how she'll fight for no-show socks.
