J.U.S Lyric
by J.U.S Lyric
A revolutionary born into a world full of strife and turmoil. The only escape I've ever had was my words, my pen, and my undying spirit. I learned from my father at an early age to embrace the skin I'm in, to love the soul that makes me, me. At the age of 4 I could sing a long and feel the vibration of soul from Teddy , Luther, and Al Green and I would take that instinct with me when I discovered the lyricism of Wu Tang, Jay Z, Nas, Pac and BIG to name a few. Growing up I took the natural route, being tall(6'6"), and hooped for a while. But even while pursuing basketball my love for rhyming and singing never disappeared. My appetite grew more and more whether it was battling in the halls or free styling in the dorms I could never satisfy my hunger. And now that I'm a man and all phases are over I step into what I am supposed to do with my GOD given gift. In a time where the voice of my people, my kin, constantly goes unheard. I will scream louder than any silence and give you my soul.
