We decided to do a “gut reaction" to the film, recording this around 30 minutes after we watched it. We also wanted to announce that, Alex (David Moeller) narrated an audiobook that released the day this was recorded! As such, this episode’s topic is the 1998 straight-to-VHS sequel to the surprise success that was the first film. Have you seen this one? Obviously, it’s now on Disney+ to stream, so it’s a lot easier to view, so I’d give it a watch if you haven’t already! It only occurred to me, while putting together the thumbnail for this, that the official title of the movie is, “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride”. I have never once, in my life, said the “the” at the beginning of the title.
