Overload
This was such a fun song to throw together, i feel like it has a real first half/second half split, first half being more around that fun repeating build up/groove release and the 2nd half which is really fast and thrashy, quite proud of that solo as well. :) i hope you enjoy it. artwork link - https://cz.pinterest.com/pin/467530005040560316/

Unquiet Waters
Hello everyone, following on from Acid Rain i wanted to try a similar atmospheric song using some of the water synths that i used to use 8 or so years ago, i love the idea of trying to create music that sounds like various aspects of the ocean. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening artwork link - https://unsplash.com/photos/blue-sea-water-2FEE6BR343k

Acid Rain
Hello everyone, i recently purchased a handful of new amp programs specifically designed for really thick/wide atmospheric powerful metal, i wrote this song with it, i hope you like it, i think its fun. :) Also the image used for this song is a colour swap of a small part of a painting i own. :D

Rapscallion
Hey everyone, i was still feeling inspired after the solos from Whispers of the Forrest and the happy major themed melodies so i extended that on in to this new song focusing on an energetic fun bouncy type of theme. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening :) artwork link - https://www.reddit.com/r/punk/comments/ev0lwr/one_of_my_punk_rock_girl_paintings/

Whispers of the Forest
First (majority) clean guitar song i have written with my new 8 string guitar (funny thing though i didn't use the 7th or 8th string at all), it has such a warm deep clean tone that i was really excited to make this, i feel it draws influences from a number of different bands and really goes a few different places shifting between dark and light motifs. I was also really dedicated to write a long powerful guitar solo for this which i am really proud of, i think it's one of my best, and it really takes the song on a fun ride. I hope you like it too, thanks for listening. :) artl link - https://fineartamerica.com/featured/llanowar-reborn-philip-straub.html

Scrap Yard Scuffle
Fun industrial metal song i wrote recently, love writing dancey metal stuff, i think this one turned out pretty good, it has some fun moments. I went for a bit more of a bass heavy mix, most of it was actually written on bass guitar prior to rhythm guitars. Hope you like it, thanks for listening :) Artwork link - https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/13co1dz/junker_queen_fanart_by_me/

Incineration
Inspired a little by the final Megadeth album i wanted to have a crack at writing some thrash inspired metal, with a bit of an 8 string guitar flavour to it. I've also tried something a little different with the mix and the bass guitar, hope it sounds okay, thanks for listening. :)

Dance Like You're On Something
Went through a fair few titles trying to name this one (ADHD and Manic were among mix). Maybe i have been listening to too much Igorrr, Callous Daoboys and Vianova but i wanted to write a fun metal dance song that was really over the top and crazy, I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed putting it together. Thank you :)

Firefly Monolith
One of the first 2 songs i have written with my brand new 8 string guitar :) I wanted this song to encapsulate the feeling of mystical wonder, giant heaviness as well as a warmth and beauty to it. I hope that comes across :) Thanks so much for listening

Anthem of Poison
Hi everyone this is my second Hollow Knight SilkSong inspired track. Bile water is such a stunning song with a beautiful lead melody that i absolutely had to write a song around. This song came together surprisingly quickly and i'm proud of how it turned out. I hope you like it too, thanks for listening :)

The Citadel
This song was inspired by the Silk Song track Choral Chambers, gorgeous song from a beautiful game. I wanted to write something in my style that adopts a handful of elements from that song and i am really quite proud of how this turned out. I hope you like it, thanks for listening! artwork link - https://x.com/algebudder/status/1971773065366589546

Blood in the Sands
Hey everyone, I wanted to challenge myself a little with this song, I wrote the entire thing in the Phrygian Dominant scale, which is a scale a rarely play in. I also played in open D tuning which I also rarely play in. It was a challenge, but I am pretty proud of some of the riffs that came out of this. The Phrygian Dominant scale is that typical Ancient Egyptian/Middle Eastern/Arabic sort of sound, and I tried to lean in to that when writing the music. I hope you like it, thanks for listening.

The Descent
This was a really enjoyable song to write, i called it the Descent due to a handful of different riffs sounding giving me a feeling of falling. The song naturally separates in to 3 sections. The First is a lot of really fun syncopated guitar riffs, i was quite proud of how the drums worked out for these, after writing the guitars i had a pretty ambitious goal in mind for them. the second part being the warm clean section, it has been a long time since i added one of these to a song, i love how the bass ended up sitting amongst the clean guitars. First time i have had that panning effect on clean guitars as well. Then the third part being the fun djenty return to metal after the clean with that drone-y chime riff continuing in the background felt like a really fun way to close out the song. I hope you enjoyed it, and think the three sections work well together, thanks a bunch for listening. artwork link - https://au.pinterest.com/pin/21392166973440637/visual-search/?x=16&y=16&w=532&h=1021&cropSource=6&surfaceType=flashlight

Embracing Madness
Following the theme of my last song Where Comets Fall i wanted to try writing in another unfamiliar key, it makes for some fun and unique riffs. There are some fun guitar moments in this song but i am actually more proud of the drums i wrote/chose for this piece and the various cut aways/fills etc. I think it keeps the song exciting and interesting, and its not often in my songs i let the drums take the spotlight. The chorus was pretty unique too with it's stop/start, call/response nature. One of the reasons why i chose to call it Embracing Madness. (The image is from Night Reign, i love that game). Thank you for listening :) artwork link - https://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=5849449

Where Comets Fall
This was a lot of fun to put together, i wrote and played all my guitars a semi-tone higher than normal to write this which put the entire song in a key i don't normally play in, overall it makes the song sound happier than a lot of my others, which was the idea for this piece. I hope you like it. Thanks for listening! artwork link: https://www.pxfuel.com/en/desktop-wallpaper-exsjk

Feeding Frenzy
Hey everyone, following on from my last song Parasite i wanted to try mixing my new super low tuned heavy guitar tone in with my normal aggressive fast guitars. This song ended up being my fastest BMP (beats per minute) one that i've done (130). I feel there are some pretty fun moments. The solo around 3 min in was a key change from the rest of the song and a fun challenge to work around, and i am quite proud of the last minute or so with the various timing changes. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening. :) artwork link: https://www.reddit.com/r/thalassophobia/comments/33xsj8/a_school_of_hammerheads/

Parasite
Probably the most left field/strange/experimental song i have written. I wanted to try my hand at making the darkest most twisted piece of music i could. Tuning a few of my synths really low i was able to create a cool eerie guttural purring sort of sound and i ran my guitars through 3 different types of amps and pitched some of them down to give them a really thick, heavy, fuzzy dirty tone. I completely understand if this one isn't everyone's cup of tea haha. thank you for listening though. :)

Collapsing Stars
This song was a lot of fun to make, handful of really fun repeating theme riffs with 3 different chorus with a similar sort of vibe to them. After my last song alone and afraid i wanted to start bringing back some choirs in to my songs. I was also quite proud of the lead guitar segments in this song and how hectic some of them feel. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed writing it. :) artwork: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/5210082?q=hela_%28voidspawn01%29

Alone... And Afraid
Hello everyone, this one was a lot of fun to put together, pretty different from my other recent stuff i wanted to try and make something really rich in dark creepy atmosphere similar to some of my older songs like Beneath the Monster and Tyrant of Fear and Tragedy. For this one the hero riff is the one i use at the very start then reuse in the dirty lead guitar for the chorus. I wanted to write the song to feel like big slow build ups to then plateau with that riff and i wanted to use other instruments to try and make it sound big, powerful, beautiful, sad and terrifying then like a cataclysm it wipes out everything and has to build back up again and it hits again like an inevitable cycle. I hope you like it! thanks for listening :D artwork link: https://www.craiyon.com/image/KufL_7BOT3i0Ap-ZJIhuZg

Child's Play
Hello everyone, this was a fun one to throw together, with some unique moments throughout. I added a new higher than normal synth to the layering in this song and i feel like it gives it almost a playful manic/happy feel while still being super chaotic and aggressive, which is why i ended up calling this Song Child's Play. Thanks for listening, i hope you like it.

Neon Star
This track was a mammoth effort to create. initially setting out to create a warm retro 80s style synth wave song it took me a long time to find the instruments i wanted to use, adjust all the eqs etc to suit the genre in way. i learnt so much writing this song. The last few minutes of it were a bit more familiar to me ;) I hope you like it, thanks for listening. artwork link - https://images.app.goo.gl/zDeigoXQdZxRNUVq8

Marionettes
Hey everyone, fun weird track here. The main riff (which is the opening riff) has a really odd slightly off timing about it which is what inspired me to call the song marionettes, since it sounds janky and weird. I feel like this song also has some fun weird moments in it as well and some pretty cool riffs that i am quite proud of. Also i tried a new mixing technique which i think makes this one pop in a pretty powerful way. I hope you like it as well! thanks for listening :)

Pandemonium
Hey everyone, bit of a wild journey i went down with this one, the riffs were written over a few different days. (all to the same BPM) but the first day i accidently wrote in triplets and to a swing drum beat, it made those riffs pretty wild to throw in with the rest but work well to be a slight tempo shift without actually changing the BPM. This one is 5bpm faster than Havoc which feels pretty wild. It is also the first song in a long time that i played entirely on my 6 string guitar, no 7 string this time. Though it still feels just as heavy. Thanks for listening, i hope you like it :) art work link - https://www.deviantart.com/alexboca/art/Khorne-438516978

Havoc
This might be my most aggressive fast paced song i've ever written, really proud of how this turned out and how savage it is. Also i think the ending is really fun, the song starts to almost turn happy with the very positive sounding rocky riff before slamming in to a pitch shifted, tempo shifted break down. There also isn't really any repetition through this track, i could have reused some riffs and made the song longer but i think with how relentless it is. it works better short. Thanks for listening, i hope you like it :)

Zen
This was a fun track to make, it ended up being created using entirely the Avast program, which was a lot of fun and i've been meaning to use for a while now. At various points in this project i added drums, bass guitar even pizzicato violins but there is a purity and warmth of these instruments free from other layers so i kept it minimalistic, which is hard for me to do. haha. Thanks for listening, bit different from my usual stuff but i hope you like it.

Sludge
Hello everyone this song was quite the journey of rabbit holes at the very start i wanted to write something really fast and aggressive, but wasn't having much luck so i was just mucking around on guitar trying to see what i could come up with and i discovered the riff that plays at 0:34 and initially when i first found it i thought this is a very bluesy sort of riff i wonder if i could write a blues song, and did some research and it seemed a bit out of my normal style so i kept writing then stumbled across the riff that plays at 0:23 and i was like oooo i'm going to write the THICKEST, FILTHIEST, SLOW, SLUDGEY song i can come up with, and that's how we got sludge :) Also i am still rather addicted to the electronic instruments that i previously used in Ra, i hope you guys aren't sick of them yet. Thanks for listening! i hope you like it :D artwork link: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52043163

Ra
Hello everyone, pretty excited with how this one turned out, i wanted to write a really heavy dirty electronic metal song utilizing a program i bought called oblivion. I'm really happy with how it turned out. The longer it went on the more Egyptian vibes it started to pick up which is why i called it Ra. Thank for listening i hope you like it :) Artwork by Christoph Peters

Silver Shores
Hello everyone, this is the first acoustic song i have written in a few years. Really pleased with how it turned out, i don't often write these warm happy songs. Created the background ambience myself with 2 lapping wave recordings, distant thunder, chirping insects and a distant crowd (something about the sound of a distant crowd always tends to make solitude sound louder to me). I hope you like it! thanks for listening. Manic
This is such a fun song to write and play, i tried to focus hard on dynamics for this one, (its something i want to get better with.) So this song has lots of moments where instruments fall away for a bit to have more impact when they come back, and riffs that break the flow of things a little bit to create a more interesting song. Then there is that pretty wacky ending, made by running Cellos and Double Basses through guitar amps. Lots of fun, very creepy. I hope you like it! Thanks for listening!

Dark Angel
New note (19.10.25) I just finished remastering this song, I have written 20+ songs since this one and have learnt a hand full of mixing techniques and gathered some handy new programs which meant i was able to redo this song to sound much bigger and clearer. i'm excited with how it turned out, i hope you like the new version. If you don't like it and you really want a copy of the old version, email me on [email protected] and i can send you a copy. :) Some of you may notice when/if you download my music that the songs will have a number sequence at the end like... Obey 196.1 or The Clockwork Maze 192.4. These numbers represent the project number and song revision. Not all projects end up being songs and sometimes multiple songs will be made under the same project number but it is the easiest way for me to keep track of how many (approximately) overall songs i have written since writing songs on the computer and this one is song number 200! So i wanted to make something huge in scale. This is the largest (in scale) song i have written in at least 7 or so years. I spent a lot of time (relative to my other songs) writing/mixing/mastering this one, i wanted it to be big for song number 200 and i am really excited to share it with you all. I wanted the story of this song to eb and flow between sinister darkness and triumphant light, i would love to hear what it evokes in you when you listen to it. Thank you so much for listening to this song and all my music over the years. Much love. Here is to 200 more. link to image used: https://bunesaltar.com/bune-artwork/

Really quite excited about this one, spent the whole weekend putting it together and really pleased with how it turned out. inspired by a couple new programs I purchased it was built around the wooden block percussion sound and female voice and grew from there. Sahnti C - Midnight Lagoon remix
Bit of a unique one this time round, a very talented friend of mine wrote this awesome ambient electronic song called Sahnti C. I absolutely fell in love with it and asked if he was happy for me to do a remix of it. This is my remix, i added the bass guitar, clean guitar and drums (though the drums get a little lost in the original percussion. I hope you like it! Original version will have a link here when publicly available Link to Blake's socials/channel here when available.

Scorpion
Hello all, this was a fun song I have been working on for a while but I ended up scrapping about 90% of it and wrote a different song around my few favourite riffs from that first version. I liked the way it turned out, and love how the deep 7 string sounds with the industrial drum sounds. Hope you like it! thanks for listening!

Obey
I wrote this song to be a bit of a spiritual successor to Omega and Outlaw, they are 2 of the first songs i wrote with my Open G 7 string guitar tuning and i think they are very fun. I think this one matches up pretty well to those 2 and has some really fun bouncy riffs and big drums. I called it Obey to keep with the theming by having their names start with O, and their image be a cool character from a video game i enjoy :) This art can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/scarvii/art/Giratina-655002677 I hope you like it! thanks for listening :)

... With Good Intentions
This track is part of a 2 song pairing (alongside "Paving The Road to Hell...") Following on from Paving the Road to Hell. This one i wanted to try and write warm/comforting feeling riffs in a scale/key that was made to write darker more twisted melodies with the intention that it would come out eerie but oddly peaceful. It is supposed to be about an evil creature that wants to do good things (with good intentions.) I would love to know what sort of mood this song invokes in you. Also this song was written focusing on bass guitars as the primary instrument, with 2 separate bass guitars being played in harmony, I find the bass guitar such a beautifully therapeutic instrument to write stuff like this with. Hope you liked it! thanks for listening!

Paving the Road to Hell...
This track is part of a 2 song pairing (alongside "...With Good intentions") Individually though this song was inspired by/written to be a bit of a spiritual successor to another song i wrote a while ago called the Iron Juggernaut. I always loved how relentlessly aggressive and fast it was and wanted to see if i could pull something like that off again, but aim for it to be darker. I really enjoyed the process it was a lot of fun, recording the bass though was very difficult. Hope you enjoy, thanks for listening

Heya Everyone, A few months ago i wrote this song for the State of Sugar album Chocolate you can check it out here https://astateofsugar.bandcamp.com/album/chocolate Just like a few of my past songs, i just threw together some riffs i thought sounded pretty cool :) Also it had been a while since i used my industrial drum sounds, I hope you like it. Voice Of The Silenced
Heya Everyone, i have another cool new metal song for you all, really proud of how a bunch of this turned out, a few riffs i think are pretty sweet, and i really like the intro, and that build up riff around 2:40 plus the riff it goes in to. This was all a lot of fun to play. :D would love to hear what you all think. ^_^ thanks so much for listening.

Downpour
Heya everyone, this is my first song i have written in about a year on my 7 string, feels good to write something so punchy and heavy, love the groove of this one and a lot of these riffs i feel really good about. :D i hope you enjoy it. ^_^ Thanks for listening.

Star Glider
Hey everyone, Tried something different with this one and was excited to show you it, i went for a bit of a retro futuristic 80s vibe for the first 2/3 of the song, along with what i thought was a cool bass line to carry it all. After adding the clean guitar solos i quite liked the melodies i came up with there and wanted to try repeating them for the first rock crescendo i've written in a year and i was pretty happy with the results :D feels good to be writing stuff like this again.

Hello everyone! Wow it's been such a long time since i have uploaded a song, sorry for the long silence all. I really burnt myself out hard over the past few years writing so many songs and basically needed around a year off. I have just started writing again and hopefully i still have some more left in me :P Hope everyone is going okay.

The Orca's Mercy
Hello everyone, I wrote this song to be a part of the P@D album Skyward https://poniesatdawn.bandcamp.com/album/skyward It would really help me out if you could purchase the album from band camp :) it comes with a TONNE of amazing songs by amazing artists. Plus you can pay whatever you want for it as well :D Really excited to share this song with you all by the way, I am quite proud of the layering of the lead guitars with the rhythm and I think the end part with the harmonics turned out pretty cool hehe. Thanks so so much for listening, i'm sorry there has been such a long delay between my last song and this.

Kicking Names, Taking Ass
Hey everyone, I like to write complex emotional progressive songs... I also like writing songs like this :P which are just designed to be fun, cool and chocked full of tasty riffs. :P I don't think this is one of my most intricate songs but i find it a lot of fun to jam to :D Thanks for listening

My Catharsis
Hey everyone, I wrote this song just after a really tough break up to the love of my life... It was a really tough emotional time, This song truly did save me from a lot of emotional pain. I wrote it all in just one night, over the course of about 8 hours. 8 hours that I would otherwise have likely spent feeling absolutely miserable. This truly was my Catharsis transformed in to music. Thank you so much for listening, this one will definitely hold a special place in my heart.

Scorched Earth Feat. Secret Metal
Hey there everyone! Really excited to share this song with you all, it has some pretty powerful themes in it. The lyrics for this one are a little less abstract and more to the point than some of my other songs. This song is about how humanity was born through discovering fire and moulding that tool to make us the most dominant species on the planet... but then also and more importantly about how it is going to be the death of us and how we are destroying our world forever seeking greater heights... The vocals for this song were performed by the very talented Secret Metal, Secret Metal has lended me his exceptional talents before in mixing a couple of my songs but i am so excited to finally have him sing on one as well and this one is really perfect for his voice, everyone go check him out and subscribe :D https://www.youtube.com/user/SecretMetalFromAbyss Lyrics: we were alone in the darkness of a wild savage world We were lost and we were broken But we're saved by the light it guides our eyes and through the night so dark and cold... we pave our way our futures's bright we'll transform the inky shadow in to our haven We build the walls We killed the skies and We built our towers up so high The fuel that drives us Wins us the game All wealth and power is built by flame ** Mother earth please forgive me for bringing you this reality We are all mindless monkeys climbing ever higher We are the blind, unable to see walking toward a catastrophe We are all soulless monkeys Hypnotised by fire ** We are the doomed souls we are the fools that lit the flame we're condemned by the warmth burning alive in shame We sold our souls to buy the fuel To raise the tide to burn our world alive ** Mother earth please forgive me for bringing you this reality We are all mindless monkeys climbing ever higher We are the blind, unable to see walking toward a catastrophe We are all soulless monkeys Hypnotised by fire ** ** Mother earth please forgive me for bringing you this reality We are all mindless monkeys climbing ever higher We are the blind, unable to see walking toward a catastrophe We are all soulless monkeys Hypnotised by fire **

Black Rose (remastered) - Feat. 4EverFreeBrony
Hey there everyone, really excited to be able to finally release this song as it was meant to be all this time (with a much better vocalist than me haha). 4EverfreeBrony did a really awesome job with this one please everyone go check him out https://www.youtube.com/user/4everfreebrony Also since the last version of Black Rose i remastered the music (mostly replacing out all the drum sounds) I hope you like the new Black Rose :D lyrics: I hear her footsteps... through the rain She whispers, she whispers to me... once again Treading lightly Through a dream It replays like a horror scene Her bleeding heart could not withstand Weeping life through the sands Ice fire blood and water Earth wind tears and slaughter I still wear the scars Of the memories you preached The highs and lows of limits we reached I saw the fire The passion and desire Crystalized... In your eyes Never in my dreams Under the veil of rain Did I think I’d see your face again? I hold my breath and try to pretend I’m... not... scared... Under the moon, under twisted rain clouds I stare upon the perfect black rose Filled with love and gripped with fear I’m mesmerized by the dancing shadows There was once a time When I’d trust your smile When I’d believe your eyes You were my queen Once upon a time My love of darkness My sweet black rose tell me what do you dream To blacken the sky To steal the sun Are we just another kingdom For you to overrun The earth... the sky... I could hardly deny They're within your grasp Will they be yours at last The seas... The stars... They used to be ours Won't you just let it be Please come back to me

Wondrous Darkness
---- this song is written to be a part of the album a state of sugar: ice cream, i would love if you could go and support the album here please https://astateofsugar.bandcamp.com/album/ice-cream ------ Hey here everyone I wanted to try to write a song similar to Waves, since that one seems to be quite popular. The start of this one was SUPER tricky and weird, it was the most messed up time signature i have ever used, it repeats every 6 1/4 beats, I tried to write more of the song like that because i feel like it gave the whole thing a rather ethereal/unnatural vibe, but it was too hard and not sounding that great so I switch back to 4:4, this song was quite a bit of hard work but I think it turned out nicely ^_^ I hope you enjoy it as well. Thanks so much for listening

Tartarus - By Blackened Blue Feat. Jason Creer
Hey everyone, i approached my buddy Blackened Blue and asked if i could help him out with a song he was putting together (because it sounded super baddass), he had about a minute of this one written at the time. I then wrote a bunch of extra riffs which he used a fair few of, then he added some other stuff and I added a break down etc. Then he did all the mixing and mastering, this is very much his song that I was lucky enough to be able to lend a hand with. You guys should all go check out his channel he makes really cool stuff. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ8BlAGzAP689jJU0bisAdA and this is his twitter, go follow him :) https://twitter.com/BBlue_music Thanks so much for listening. \../

Sunburn - Feat. FritzyBeat
Hello everyone, I don't think i have ever been more excited to finally upload a song... this song has been in progress for nearly THREE years!!! i wrote it a good while ago but was having some issues with it for the longest time. The amazing Fritzy https://www.youtube.com/user/FritzyBeat sang the chorus for me and blew me away with his amazing vocal work but the verses were tricky. In the end i ended up doing the verses myself. ^_^ i was pretty happy with how it all turned out, i hope you enjoy it as well. The story is about Princess Luna and her moments just before succumbing to the temptation of the darkness and becoming Nightmare Moon. She feels blinded by the majesty that is Celestia, left in her shadow, and is feeling small, lost and abandoned. And this is the song that follows. ^_^ These are the lyrics: i've travelled the world tracing lines in the sand reflecting the light and all i miss always walking backwards before i knew how... to stand Do mistakes define me? Am i chained to this? the challenges and consequence i'm still looking for some common sense and the giver of light takes another life when is it too late to grow? The sun burns away the innocence A thousand crops lost to ignorance The failed farmer, is a serial killer We reap the seeds we sew Why must the sun burn so bright? i miss the cool, the shelter of the endless night the stars have always been there for me but the sun is always too bright to see Just another day, lost in the desert in the shadow of the sun all alone Every step brings a new kinda pain as i wander deeper into the shame all hope drains from tomorrow A trio of vultures form my halo Take it all away, the sun, the light the pain of living beneath your glare its always far too bright Slice by slice... You cut away beneath your sun i live every day Looking for escape and to break the mold I need the darkness, i need the night so cold why must you always burn so bright? i miss the times before we'd always fight Since the start you'd always been there for me but now the darkness of night is all i see Why must the sun burn so bright? i miss the cool, the shelter of the endless night the stars have always been there for me but the sun is always too bright to see Thank you so so so much for listening, i hope you enjoyed the song. I'm so excited i finally get to show you it. :D it feels like a dream to finally make this one live.
