Vibes Competition Week 35|| Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jhymie/rkjcmwev Hello people, I hope we are all doing great today. I'd like to take this moment to wish everyone a happy new month seeing as today is the first day in the month of June. For today, I'll be sharing with you an EDM song by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay titled “Something Just Like This”. Right from the first time I came across this song, I was drawn to the lyrics. The lyrics portray both real life and fictional stories like that of Achilles. I hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as I enjoyed singing it. Song Lyrics I've been reading books of old The legends and the myths Achilles and his gold Hercules and his gifts Spiderman's control And Batman with his fists And clearly I don't see myself upon that list But she said, "Where'd you wanna go? How much you wanna risk? I'm not looking for somebody With some superhuman gifts Some superhero Some fairy tale bliss Just something I can turn to Somebody I can kiss" I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this I've been reading books of old The legends and the myths The testaments they told The moon and its eclipse And Superman unrolls A suit before he lifts But I'm not the kind of person that it fits She said, "Where'd you wanna go? How much you wanna risk? I'm not looking for somebody With some superhuman gifts Some superhero Some fairy tale bliss Just something I can turn to Somebody I can miss" I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo Oh, I want something just like this. Thank you for watching

Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 34: Our Song by Annie-Marie and Niall Horan.

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jhymie/gxsuedly Hello ladies and gentlemen! I'm really excited to share with you people my song for this week. It took me a while before I could finally decipher which song to sing for this week but finally, I settled for “Our Song” by Annie-Marie and Niall Horan. This song is a heartbreak song that depicts lovers reminiscing on memories they shared with their former partners whenever their song comes up on the radio. This song is very relatable, especially to music lovers who shared their playlist with partners before a fallout. I'd like to mention that the song is just one that I like to sing, especially because of the artist Annie-Marie, who happens to be one of my favorite female artists. I hope you enjoy listening to the song as much as I enjoyed making it. Song Lyrics I'll be honest, I'm alright with me Sunday mornings in my own bedsheets I've been waking up alone, I haven't thought of her for days I'll be honest, it's better off this way But every time I think that I can get you out my head You never ever let me forget, 'cause Just when I think you're gone, hear our song on the radio Just like that, takes me back to the places we used to go And I've been trying, but I just can't fight it When I hear it, I just can't stop smiling And I remember you're gone, baby, it's just the song on the radio That we used to know I'll be honest, I'm alright with me Sunday mornings in my own white tee I've been waking up alone, I haven't thought of him for days I'll be honest, ha It's better off this way Every time I think that I can get you out my head You never ever let me forget, 'cause Just when I think you're gone, hear our song on the radio Just like that, takes me back to the places we used to go And I've been trying, but I just can't fight it When I hear it, I just can't stop smiling And I remember you're gone, baby, it's just the song on the radio That we used to know Just when I think you're gone, hear our song on the radio Just like that, takes me back to the places we used to go And I've been trying, but I just can't fight it When I hear it, I just can't stop smiling I remember you're gone, baby, it's just the song on the radio And I've been trying, but I just can't fight it (ooh) When I hear it, I just can't stop smiling (ooh) And I remember you're gone, baby, it's just the song on the radio That we used to know Source

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jhymie/hostzxur Hello guys, It's yet another week of the vibes web3 music competition and for week33, I'll be singing a worship song, Rahama by the Nigerian gospel artist, kaestrings. Fun fact: the word “rahama” means “mercy” in Hausa and the song is a moving plea for God's compassion and presence. I hope you enjoy listening to this piece as much as I enjoyed singing it. Music Lyrics O Lord My God All that i want Is your touch My faith Is heightened On this mountain To drink from your love Oh... Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one) Ji addua ta (please hear my prayer) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one) Ga hawaye na (here is my cry) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo O Lord My God All that i want Is your touch My faith Is heightened On this mountain To drink from your love O Lord My God All that i want Is your touch My faith Is heightened On this mountain To drink from your love Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one) Ji addua ta (please hear my prayer) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Yesu, Mai Rahama(Jesus, the merciful one) Ga hawaye na (here is my cry) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one) Ji addua ta (please hear my prayer) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Yesu, Mai Rahama(Jesus, the merciful one) Ga hawaye na (here is my cry) Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you) Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Oh oh oooo Source Thank you.

Vibes Music Competition Week 31 [Dynasty by Miia]

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jhymie/opchxovx Hello everyone. I am jhymie and I'm new here. Today, I will be sharing with you my first ever music rendition. It took weeks before I could finally make up my mind and I do not regret joining this competition. I have loved singing for as long as I can remember but I've never really given anyone a chance to listen to or watch me perform. One could say I'm an introverted artist. Be that as it may, I'm really grateful to @lordbutterfly and @silentscreamer for coming up with the vibes initiative. For this week, I will be singing the song “Dynasty” by Miia. Dynasty is a song I always keep on repeat because I love everything about the song. Miia’s vocals, the instrumentals and the overall harmony. This song is a melodious one that talks about a lost love, heartbreak and how fragile relationships can be. A single crack can make a long relationship come crashing down and Miia beautifully expresses this in the lyrics of her song. The title of the song “Dynasty” also goes a long way in expressing this because by definition, dynasty is something that is meant to last for a very long time. Forever maybe. This is one of those songs I effortlessly sing along to but I never knew that trying to make a cover for a song can be so hard, even if the one is one of my favourites. Or maybe it's because this is my first trial. Eitherway, I enjoyed every part of this song, from the singing to editing. I’m a novice when it comes to video editing but I did try out something and I think it came out well. The lyrics of this marvelous song can be found here It is my first time doing this and I sincerely hope that I didn't make any mistakes. Also, I hope you enjoyed listening as much as I enjoyed singing the song. What do you think about my rendition? Are there any aspects you would like me to work on? Do tell.
