First Things First
Instrumental jazz-rock and jazz-fusion by John David Thomas (ASCAP). Recorded in March 1980 at Soundsmith Studio in Indianapolis, Indiana USA with John David Thomas on keyboards (Fender Rhodes, etc) and his studio band with Gary Fitch on electric lead guitar and Randy Hamm on saxophone and Paul Thomas (brother) on drums and Rusty Humphrey on bass guitar. Mid-section solos on guitar and sax improvised by Gary Fitch and Randy Hamm, respectively. This was originally composed by John David Thomas, "live in concert" at the Nora Teen Barn on the northside of Indianapolis in the 1970s with brother Paul on drums for a large group of rich tennis kids in Indianapolis. This music has won praise from Afro-American musicians and bands on Soundclick.com/johndavidthomas in the comments there as being great "funk" music.

The Little Prince
This fantastic solo piano work by composer/producer/pianist John David Thomas was composed by him and performed many times at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana USA in the early 1970s, circa 1973, and performed by him many times "on campus" of BSU. This is one of his favorite solo piano originals of all time. He intended for this to be included in a future movie, "The Little Prince", as film theme music, but the filmmakers already had chosen the famous "Lerner and Lowe" team to do the score. This dream-like quality is intentional. The book of "The Little Prince" by famous French author, Antoine-de-Saint-Exupery is highly revered in France and by French speaking people worldwide. It can be found sometimes in bookstores in the Children's section OR in the "Philosophy" area.
