Becky Johnson, owner of Sterling Talent, Inc. in Portland, Oregon shares her experiences as a torch singer in the 1970s and 80s.  After ten years of juggling her singing career, caring for two children, a nanny and all the travel involved with the job, she makes a bold decision to start Sterling Talent, Inc. in the Pacific Northwest. 

Lynn, a retired firefighter, talks about her career with a Fire Department in New Mexico.  Facing challenges along the way in a male dominated field, she takes advantage of the many opportunities to advance.  Starting her career in fire suppression, then becoming a paramedic, arson investigator and finishing her 20 yr career as an Public Information Officer.  The conversation touches on sexual harassment within the department and the obstacles young women continue to face to day.

Heidi is a former Assistant Attorney General of New Mexico and is now a lobbyist and advocate for REULTS.Org.  RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people who use their voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty.  Heidi is devoted to helping make the lives of women and children better. Our conversation focuses on women's rights, women's bodily autonomy, child poverty, the child tax credit, GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance and our fight for democracy.
