Mr. Roman previously served as director of the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. In 2014, he was named one of the ten most inspiring global Jewish leaders by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. He previously served as the political advisor to the deputy foreign minister of Israel and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. He attended American University in Washington, D.C., and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel, where he studied national security studies and political communications. Dr. Michael Rubin is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC and director of policy analysis at the Middle East Forum. For the past decade, he has also worked as a contract Persian language analyst for the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Studies Office. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Rubin received a B.S. degree in biology from Yale University in 1994, and a Ph.D. in history from the same institution in 1999. He contributed affidavits to or served as an expert witness in court cases involving Hezbollah money laundering, Iranian terrorism, and internal Iraqi security. Her lawsuit, Friedrichs v California Teachers' Association, brought with ten other teachers, was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in January 2016, and blazed the trail for ending forced unionism for all teachers and government employees in the United States. First generation American citizen Mike Garcia is a highly decorated United States naval officer whose record-setting flying performance earned him the honor of becoming one of the first Super Hornet pilots in the Navy. Accruing over 1400 hours of operational flight time after nearly 20 years of military service to our country, Garcia decided to separate from the US Navy with an honorable discharge and focus on his family. While he continues as a reservist instructor pilot, Garcia moved back to the 25th district in 2009 and began to work for the Raytheon company. Garcia's decision to run for Congress in 2020 came as no surprise in members of California's 25th district. He has seen the world but has returned to his hometown, wanting to see his community remain the utopia it has been since its inception. In May 2020, Mike was successful in the special election against his opponent, becoming the first Republican in 22 years to flip a blue seat to red in California. Mike went on to be re-elected to his first full term in November 2020. In Congress Mike serves on the Appropriations Committee and the space, science and technology committee. Dershowitz, a graduate of Brooklyn College and Yale Law School, joined the Harvard Law School faculty at age 25. He is a vocal defender of civil liberties and the constitution through his media appearances. Dershowitz is the author of 40 works of fiction and non-fiction, including 7 bestsellers. More than a million of his books have been sold worldwide, in numerous languages, and more than a million people have heard him lecture around the world. Those who watched our conversation live with with Rebecca Friedrichs on October 9, 2020, were impressed by her courage, knowledge, and motivation to positively impact the schools in our country. As a twenty-eight-year public school teacher, she was forced to fund unions whose politics and divisive tactics degraded her profession, our schools, and our national character. Her lawsuit, Friedrichs v California Teachers' Association, which sought to free teachers from forced unionism, was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2016. Poised to rule 5-4 in Rebecca's favor, the Court suddenly deadlocked after the sudden passing of Justice Scalia. Determined to stop state and national teachers’ unions from destroying our schools and American values, and sensing that millions of like-minded supporters were stunned and discouraged, Rebecca refused to give up.
