We Did It, Joe
Jumpseatersss!!!That's a wrap on Season 1 of Jumpseat Therapy. I hold such gratitude to all who have taken the time to listen to each, and hopefully every, episode. It means a lot. As I've said many times, this is ten years in the making. Mentally, that is. Nonetheless, I hold such pride to have overcome the mental block and put action to my words.I hope that you found enjoyment, comedy, insight, and foolishness within this season. I hope you'll join me again for the next take off on Jumpseat Therapy. Is This The Upside Down?
Hey my Jumpseaters!!!This. Was. An. Episode. It is always an amazing time of laughter, love and enlightenment when chatting with my friend, Andre. I sure hope that you found as much enjoyment and power in the conversation as I did. On this episode, we spoke of loss, healing, advocating for oneself and a lot of other random things. Sometimes the easiest thing to do, isn't always right in front of us. Sometimes, however, it's enough just putting one foot in front of the other. As you listen in, I'd like for you to think of a time when you went somewhere - mentally or physically - to heal. Wreck it Reka
Hey Jumpseaters!!!How can you keep your total self-aligned while traveling the world? On today’s episode, we have a sit-down with Reka at Cafecito Shop (https://cafecitoshop.com)located in West Orange, NJ. In this episode, we discovered how important it is not only be put in motion, but to keep yourself in motion. To keep active and also find the beauty in a calming sit-down with yourself. Because let’s be for real, you’ve got one you, and you’ve got to make sure you’re set before all else. The mental work makes for good work. If you have any fitness or well-being questions, you can find Reka on IG @wreckitreka and @baddie.brownie_If you have anything you'd like to add to future episodes, fill out the submission form: https://forms.gle/CHyLzvDdd6DMoFwS7 or email me at [email protected] me on IG and TikTok @itsdarrian_grayUntil then, this is Darrian signing off. Ru Ru Coming Through
Hey my lovely Jumpseaters! What a fun episode this was. It's amazing what the opportunities of travel and a little bit of optimism can do for the soul. Ruhan has become a dear friend and truly a beacon of laughter, love and a good old read!!! We spoke about everything and nothing, and honestly, that's quite alright with me. It's the laughs and ah-ha moments that really make a difference. What did you think? If you have plans or yearnings to visit Melbourne, Australia, take Ruhan’s suggestions to visit and do these three things. If you’ve been or find yourself there soon, let me know what you thought about it. Invest yourself in the culture. Visit these spots:· Hosier Lane· Hardware Lane· National Gallery of Victoria· Yarrow RiverGo outside of Melbourne and visit the Yera Valley· Morning Peninsula · London Bridge· 12 Apostles · Ballarat Go to any café and ask for a Magic Coffee. A Chance to Bloom
Hey Jumpseaters!!! I had the pleasure of having a chat with my colleague and fellow creator, Jimi Xon. You can find and follow Jimi on music journey via:IG: @jimixonmusic & @journeywithjimi TikTok: @jimixonmusicSpotify and all other streaming platforms under Jimi Xon. https://open.spotify.com/artist/7B3jpXu1pb02hfk4deIuEh?si=q7wt1o0USt-f-XClHp-5iwOn this episode with Jimi, we realize how music is an expressive art that provides you the ability to shed light, be vulnerable or even escape into another world for some time. In his song “Chance to Bloom” he comes straight out by mentioning “everybody struggling nowadays”. As you listen and even after, take a moment on your jumpseat to think about what might be standing in your way to greatness. A Moment For Life
Welcome back Jumpseaters!!!Thanks so much for tuning into this episode with my good friend, Juhstiz. On this takeoff, we spoke about rocky turbulence and even shakier landings. We touched on moments where we’ve felt tossed aside, burnt out, and at our wits end. Being a Flight Attendant is truly a blessing and a moment in one’s life to be cherished, but all great things come with challenges. What I took from this chat is the importance of taking a stand for oneself. There are so many outliers surrounding us that do their hardest to weigh us down. It’s not until we take a moment to recognize them, can we then apply focus to free ourselves from them.If you or a mother you know has suffered miscarriages, resources like Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support (nationalshare.org) offer phone, email, and online support. There is also Postpartum Support International (postpartum.net).If you have anything you'd like to add to future episodes, fill out the submission form: https://forms.gle/CHyLzvDdd6DMoFwS7or email me at [email protected] me on IG and TikTok @itsdarrian_grayUntil then, this is Darrian signing off. What Even Is This?
Well, hello and welcome to the very first episode of Jumpseat Therapy. I'm sure you're saying to yourself, "Lord, not ANOTHER Flight Attendant podcast and storyline." And to that I say, "Well, that's too damn bad." (IYKYK) But let's be real, not every FA nor their experiences are the same, and my hope in creating this podcast is to take things a step further beyond the glam, the glitz and the occasional guess-agains. This is a 10 years in the making idea that has finally taken form. As I work through the ideas and understandings of recording myself within these intimate and nuanced moments, I ask you for your input, advice and your support. I hope that, as you listen, you find value and enjoyment in my words, my experiences and the moments I share with any and all future guests. If you have anything you'd like to add to future episodes, fill out the submission form: https://forms.gle/CHyLzvDdd6DMoFwS7or email me at [email protected] me on IG and TikTok @itsdarrian_grayUntil next time, this is Darrian signing off. I'll see you in the sky.
