    Scott Nicol

    Mystic Multiples

    In this episode we sit down with Mystic Multiples, a risograph printing company based in Houston, Texas.     Chad Rea

    ***APOLOGIES for the echo as I ask questions, I had a wrong setting on when we recorded and I'm still learning how to best edit the audio*** We sit down with Chad Rea and discuss his journey into becoming a fine artist without a fine arts degree, how his experiences shape the work he is currently making, and how his degree path helps inform the current work he is making. Chad Rea (American, b. 1971) is a multidisciplinary artist who was born in Inglewood, California and raised in El Paso, Texas. He received his BA in Advertising from Texas Tech University in 1994 and holds a certificate in Advanced Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica. Rea lives in Lockhart, Texas where he curates exhibitions and public art experiences through LockhART HOUSE, his home studio/gallery/airbnb.     Ricardo Ruiz

    Born and raised in Corpus Christi Texas, Ricardo Ruiz has been working at honing his painting skills since the 1980's. Ruiz is a master of his craft and shares his creative journey with us, as well as some background on some prominent symbols in his work. Ricardo's exhibition "A Sense of Home" is on display at K Space Contemporary from January 4th through February 22nd.
