Kalatiita
This is the fifth track on my new album called: "Transcendent", The Supreme Entity, our innermost self, is beyond all expressions of this world, beyond all differences, beyond time, place and person, form, color or ideas. By meditating on the one all blissful self within, we become magnificent and sweet and every one of our thought waves melds with the infinite waves of mercy and bliss. Kiirtan is the singing aloud of the mantra Baba Nam Kevalam, which means "Everything is love divine". By singing the mantra we may feel our all being transformed into a vast ocean of love. Whether our life is like a blaze of fire, a storm or a gentle wind appearing from the east, our minds will remain tranquil and alert - a small drop of water mingling with the vast sea of eternity. Beautiful painting by Mukti, Hava Bauman

he meaning of the mantra "Baba Nam kevalam" is: Everything and everywhere there is only the Infinite Supreme Consciousness. Thus, I consider everyone in this universe, be it an animal, a plant or a human being as my kith and kin, my relatives. I see in everyone the expression of a one infinite source of happiness and divine bliss. Painting by Hava Bauman - Mukti

Baba Nam Kevalam is a universal mantra given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, also known as Baba to his disciples. He was an Indian Guru, philosopher, author, social revolutionary, poet, composer, and linguist. His teachings spanned the entire spectrum of thought and pointed humanity in a direction toward developing their intrinsic spiritual nature and shaping a society that would provide the congenial environment for the development of higher consciousness. Kiirtan (or kiirtana) nowadays is typically the chanting out loud of a specially empowered mantra, an 8-syllabled siddha mantra (perfect incantation). In Ananda Marga, the mantra used is Bábá náma kevalam. The language is Saḿskrta. The meaning is: Only the name of the Dearest One, only the name of Parama Puruśa.

Kiirtan (Baba Nam Kevalam)Is a universal mantra given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (affectionately called "Baba" by His devotees). People seek Happiness, not just regular material joy, but permanent Supreme Beatitude. Through chanting the name of the Lord we come in close contact to the Supreme and experience the most subtlest feeling of giving bliss and receiving bliss. In such a subtlest pursuit, we lose our limited identity in the Infinite rhythm of the eternal, Supreme being. "This exalted state beyond even aesthetic science is called Mohana Vijina'na or supra-aesthetic science" (Ananda Vaccnamrtam p. 15)
