Fire Radio is about learning to live in a fire-adapted landscape. We discuss preparedness, defensible space, home hardening, and community resiliency. We give voice to the firefighters, the igniters of healthy fire, and the fire ecologists, who are often the same people. We help listeners understand fire and become empowered to be proactive about it.Our podcast is an extension of a monthly radio show, airing on KMUD, Redwood Community Radio, nestled in the redwood forests of Northern California. While some of the information is specific to our region, much of it is relevant to other areas as well.
