Better than the film? Yes, because it is shorter! Introduction of Major Evan Lorne, first and only appearance of Michael Rooker, return of Alex Zahara and Patrick Currie in Unas suits. The whole gang is here. Except O'Neill and Carter who sit this one out. And Teal'c has fuck-all to do. So really, it's all on you, Daniel.

You definitely need to watch the TV show 'Night Visions' episode 'A View Through The Window' to understand why or how this episode of Stargate could have been better... DOME.

Fun alliance-building mystery theatre! There's been a MUUUUURDERRR!!! Whodunnit? It all devolves into a rip off of 'Predator', which is great! Andrew is very sick and croaky on today's pod.

Wowweeeee... it's a fun one. SG1 takes a back seat and brings the jokes. Felger and Coombs bring the plot.

I'd say this episode was interesting.. but not fascinating. Some tying up loose ends from the Kelowna storylines, and Jonas meets his old mentor. I just realised Kelowna is a place in BC Canada where they filmed the show???

This one is a bit.. meh. Jaffa stuff again, I find it tedious... but O'Neill has some really great tension.

It's the big Armageddon/Deep Impact episode!

A pretty high scoring episode with lots of tension, stakes, draaaaammmm-uh, and romance. Lt. Elliot dies a heroic death just like he always wanted. Hmm, the only thing that they didn't have happen to Daniel on his ill-fated genocide mission was to have his hand pricker poison wear off.

WHAT A GOOD EPISODE! Into the top ten of all time! THE BIG BAD GUY IS REVEALED!!!! And, mea culpa - there are NOT 5 points for Dion Johnstone as he is not shown. However, there IS 5 points for Jacob's ship being cloaked.. So it adds up ok.

A bit rambley today because this episode was all...business and no fun. Don't get me wrong, I love the beaurocracy episodes, but I also come here for the fun, right? At the end there's some book talk about upcoming crime/action novel The Apollo Murders by astronaut Chris Hadfield! (Oh, and the introduction of a thoroughly dislikable Dr Mckay).

#alwaysthehallways In this Earth-based episode we see the process of recruiting new members to SG teams, via a big mindfuckery and Ocean's Eleven heist. Good fun, and great to see Hailey is back and a LOT more likeable.

It's beautiful. Sweet Jesus, it's beautiful. There isn't really anything to say about the 100th episode spectacular. It is quite unconnected to the rest of canon, and functions simply as a little gift to all the fans who pay close enough attention to understand the references, injokes, cameos, and gags. Love it.

Oh no! Carter is kidnapped and Timmy fall down the well!? Better go get help, boy! Colonel O'Neill is once again forced to call on his worst enemy Harry Maybourne to solve an on-earth mystery! Good times!

Not a space odyssey but a return to the Aschen storyline! Great Scott!! It's your children Marty! Something has to be done about your children! And later in the pod, I talk about the plan from Gateworld to watch Atlantis in the back to back order with SG1 season 8 etc.

Why is it called this? I have no idea. Anyway, the Tollan people return for their final bow! Because THE BIG BAD GOA'ULD SYSTEM LORD TO RULE THEM ALL HAS ARRIVED! -- Currently without a name. But you guys know his name. Oh boy, he is going to shake up the galaxy. Killing off our favourite alien allies is a fascinating first introduction to his power!
