Then they move into a combo segment talking about teams to watch for 2026 as well as the stand out attackmen who make them contenders. Both 1A and 2A divisions/attackmen are covered as our sights are set on another exciting Spring season.

    The coaches sit down this week and talk about being on the cusp of the 2026 lacrosse season. They start off talking about the evaluation process in the preseason and what is quantified during it. Coach Barry discusses officiating classes that he has taken on a whim before getting into this episode's coaches corner.     We welcome another new head coach on the program this week. This time it is Legacy Lacrosse Co-Founder and Brebeuf head coach, Keaghan Holland. Keaghan talks with the coaches about the roots of Evansville/Southern Indiana lacrosse. His time spent at Evansville Memorial and Hanover both as a player and coach. Coach Holland gives us insight into how he is building his program with little time to prepare for 2026. They share stories, advice, and much more.     Coach Barry and Coach Jacob spend this week speaking with one of the newer faces to 2A, Penn Head Coach Kaene Haughee. Coach Haughee talks about how he found his way to lacrosse as a player in South Bend and his journey into coaching. Topics range from invitational championships with the SB Bears to tips for newer coaches, lacrosse in Northern Indiana, and much more.     The coaches are back together this episode and start things off with another position spotlight. This time they focus on some of the top returning faceoff players in the state. Then the coaches get into the details about the Notre Dame coaching clinic from this past weekend. They talk about the clinic's structure, how elite college coaches structure practices, and other lessons from the weekend.

    Coach Barry sits down this episode for a conversation with IHSLA President, John Duffy. The two talk about all things IHSLA. What the future may look like and what can be done to continue growth with Indiana. They also discuss Coach Duffy's non-profit work and how it has helped him take over his new role.     The coaches are back from their Holiday break to sit down with an extremely special guest. They are joined by current INGLA president and Guerin Catholic Girls head coach, Joe Bellflower. Coach Bellflower spends over an hour with the guys talking about everything INGLA. How the league is structured, how the emerging IHSAA program is working, awards, growth, and so much more is covered. They pivot to get into what makes the Guerin Catholic Girls program tick and how they've been able to compete at a high level consistently. A big thank you to Coach Bellflower!

    LRA - Returning Defensemen Spotlight and The Gift of Lacrosse

    We have a special holiday episode for everyone this week! The coaches start things off covering some of the best defensemen that are making their return next season. Time is spent on both 1A and 2A defensive stand outs before the coaches switch over to the giving season. The final segment being a discussion about all of the "gifts" and lessons that lacrosse offers us, from players to coaches.

    In the second week of our newest season, the coaches start the positional spotlight segment with the Hoosier state's goalkeepers. They cover both the 1A and 2A goalies they see as standouts for the 2026 season. They follow up with another coaches corner and this week it's all about ground balls. Stats, tips, and drills are all covered when talking about getting the rock off the turf. Finally, we finish up talking with McFly partner Matt McIntyre. Coach McIntyre talks about everything from Zionsville youth lacrosse to everything that McFly manages. Luke is currently a sophomore with the Blue Devils and the founder of "317 Lacrosse". The two discuss Luke's journey from Carmel to Culver, and now Durham. Luke speaks on how he developed to the highest level of lacrosse and shares some great stories from along the way. Hear from a Hoosier about what it takes to make it to the top.
