    Episode 36: Coach JR Morrison from 2024 ACAA Champion (and CCAA Nationals Host) STU Tommies Men's Soccer.

    Bill and Brad take the podcast mobile for a visit with ACAA Coach of the Year and STU Tommies Men's Soccer Head Coach JR Morrison.  After winning ACAAs last weekend STU is hosting CCAA Nationals on the Grant-Harvey turf November 6th to 9th.  Coach suggests it's time to give Grant-Harvey turf a name from the local soccer community and that we've been Waite-ing too long for such recognition. Coach Morrison talks about Nationals preparation, recruiting efforts, and his time at STU.  Local sports are recapped with and in the Get to Know the Guest segment we learn one thing the team doesn't know about coach and who his favorite cartoon character is.

    Late Scratches takes the gear mobile for a 2 part episode previewing STU Tommies Women's and Men's basketball teams in advance of the Ken Gould Tournament this week.  In part 1, co-hosts Brad Janes and Bill Gibson are joined by veterans women's team coach Fred Connors and starting guard Kylee Roi.   In part 2, starting at the 34:00 minute mark, men's coach John Hickey and CCAA All-Canadian discuss the men's program and the high expectations for the season.   This was recorded in the STU basketball office with the gear atop a Gatorade cooler - we ask forgiveness if we sound far away from the microphones at times.
