Chris Veron is a passionate DJ and techno producer from Freiburg, grew up near Frankfurt, and since then mid-90s has grown deep with electronic music and the scene. Chris has made a name for himself well beyond the tri-border region and emblematic electronic blood flows through his veins. This can be felt and seen on each of his gigs and is also reflected in his productions. Now he is back on Lauter Unfug with a Stunning Techno EP including a Rafael Cerato Remix.

LUM0016: Nana K. & Ben Champell – „Twerkhain“ EP Nana K. & Ben Champbell mark their debut on Lauter Unfug with „Twerkhain“ and „Jackflip“. Both tracks certainly stand out against the trivial tech house monotony by their distinct elements. „Twerkhain“ builds up to a whirling lead synth that takes you on a carousel ride while „Jackflip“ unfolds on a saturated dirty acid bass line. M.In delivers his reinterpretation of „Twerkhain“, adding some funky grooves to the original, making it a perfect floor filler and memorable tune at once. Tarde leans towards a more technoid approach, conceiving a track that slowly builds up to its peak and giving it a nice wide feel by adding some large reverb on the claps. The Belgian Producer Seba Lecompte goes all techno giving the track a more analogue feel. The “Twerkhain” EP is a 5 Track release that reaches from house to techno, covering many niches of underground music which will certainly find its way to the dancefloors around the world.

London based DJ and Producer Simon Shaw Launches his debut on Lauter Unfug with an atmospheric track, incorporating modern and classic house elements. The fine selection between acid hooks, old schoolish dirty bass lines and spaced out vocals add a mellow but driving vibe to the ensemble and make the track suitable for opening hours, peak time and after hours. Timid Boy sends the original track on a strange journey, certainly a bit further out of space than the original one does. "L´étrange voyage de Monsieur D." leads the crowd into another dimension with its dark bass line, it´s resonating clap and an elevating string ensemble. Matchy & Bott make their addition to the EP by adding a whole lot of funk and a catchy acid line. Makz Stanley completes the EP with his UK Bass House interpretation, rounding up the package. The Shades of Red EP is a solid, dance floor orientated release, offering a lot of diversity to its listeners.
