I had the chance to talk to CC Jacobs, a junior at the University of Richmond who just made the switch from midfield to defenseWe’re talking position changes, transfer portal, D1 lacrosse, and the difference between the men’s and women's game.

I was honored to talk to Matt Palumb, head referee of the PLL, and one of the most respected officials in lacrosse. A former three-time national champion goalie at Syracuse, he’s spent over 30 years officiating at every level from NCAA championships to pro lacrosse.

I had so much fun on this episode with Antonio "Tone" DeMarco, a former UNC midfielder who graduated in 2025.  We talked about his journey to UNC, math classes with Drake Maye, his UNC gear, training with Michael Sowers, and what it took to compete at the highest level of college lacrosse. 

Today in the Lax Locker Room I sat down with Jake Ivancevic, one of the top LSMs in the country. He attends The Benjamin School in Florida, plays for Team 91 Long Island, and is committed to playing Division 1 lacrosse at Brown University. He won tournament MVP of the NLF Tournament in 2024.

I sat down with a seriously special guest, Coach Chris Bocklet. He's a UVA legend, pro player, coach for the California Redwoods, and part of one of the most talented lacrosse families ever. But his story goes way beyond lacrosse, from big-time success, to battling through a traumatic brain injury, and coming back stronger. This is a good one.

Today we’ve got a really cool guest for all the young players out there who are trying to level up their game. We have Jonathan King, a 2028  who plays for Team 91 Annapolis, as well as several other elite teams. And if you’ve seen him online, you already know he’s putting in serious work. Jonathan is known for posting a ton of workout videos and showing what it actually takes to get stronger, faster, and better as a young athlete.

Today we've got Max Krevsky in the Lax Locker Room. He is a former Yale standout and now running with the New York Atlas. He’s played at the highest level in college and now he’s competing against the best in the world every weekend, even winning the PLL Championship his Rookie year.

I was joined by Dan Kaplan in this Lax Locker Room Episode. Dan is the Director of ILPreps at Inside Lacrosse where he leads scouting, ranking, and star ratings for youth and high school players. Dan’s journey through the game spans player, coach, and media leader giving him a unique perspective on where lacrosse has been and where it’s going. From the field to the stories that shape the sport, this is a great one.

I had the honor to have Yosef in the Lax Locker Room. He is a former D1 lacrosse player, currently playing on the Ugandan Men's National Lacrosse team, and is building a brand that is majorly growing the sport of lacrosse. He also is the owner and director of ISE Lacrosse, a national  program that also focuses on mentorship, philanthropy, and fostering leadership skills.

Today in the Lax Locker Room we’ve got Peter Laake from the University of Maryland. This is a powerful story about a life changing moment that teaches resilience, gratitude, and loving the game. During his time at Loyola Blakefield, Peter experienced a sudden on-field cardiac event similar to what happened with Damar Hamlin. In this episode, he shares his story of what that moment was like and how it impacted what the game means to him.

Jackson Eicher joins me in the Lax Locker Room. He was a standout for Army lacrosse, finalist for the Tewaaraton, and now a pro with the Carolina Chaos. We talk about his journey from West Point to the pros, the mindset it takes to compete at the highest level, and what young players can learn from his path.

Today in the Lax Locker Room we are joined by the one and only defensive middie for the Denver Outlaws, Zach Geddes. Prior to the PLL, Zach was a standout for Georgetown Hoyas men's lacrosse. We talk about his path from college to the pros, what it takes to play elite short-stick defense, and the mindset needed to compete at the highest level.

I got to sit down with Coach Deemer Class, 3x All American, 2x National Champion Duke lacrosse player, went pro, and now founder of First Class Lacrosse and Best In Class Showcase. He is a one of the best outside shooters to ever play the game. Now he’s a coach, teacher, and podcast host helping players all over the country get better and understand lacrosse at a higher level.

Chase Mullins, Penn State FOGO and a local St. Christopher’s alum breaks it down in the Lax Locker Room. One of the top faceoff guys in the game, Chase talks about his journey, his approach at the X, and what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.

Coach Hutchinson, Associate Head Coach - Offensive and Recruiting Coordinator of Harvard University joins the Lax Locker Room. He is breaking down offensive IQ,  player development, and what it takes to succeed at the college level. Great takes from the Crimson Tide coaching staff.

We talk about their paths to the D1 level, biggest lessons, best stories, and what it takes to ball out in the A10.

Got to hang in the Lax Locker Room with Navarro Blakes or better known as Only Varro, a Rosemont College lacrosse standout and one of the most entertaining creators in the game right now. We dove into him as an athlete, his brand, and the guy behind the camera.

Coach Farrell’s a Maryland Terp, former pro lacrosse player, and all-around defensive beast who’s now coaching some of the best players in the game.

I broke it down with Coach Nic Bell in the locker room, the guy running the show at STAB and one of the best to ever do it in the high school game. A Brown lacrosse alum who led Taft to the 2021 GEICO Nationals Championship, Coach Bell has helped more than 185 players reach the college level. Awesome conversation!

Liam McBrayer and I got to sit down for the Lax Locker Room's first ever in-person interview with our Team 91 South Coach, Ryan Flanagan. From UNC All-American to Pro All-Star to founding and directing Team 91 Charlotte, Team 91 Triad and Team 91 South, Ryan Flanagan has done it all. He’s built one of the strongest lacrosse programs in the South, helping more than 90 players reach their college dreams.

I got to sit down with my Team 91 VA director, Coach Carl Nease. Coach Carl has been a driving force in the Virginia lacrosse scene, building a reputation as a coach who develops players on and off the field. He has built the Team 91 VA program and worked with some of the top youth and high school programs in the area.

Today we’ve got Ben Silver in the house. An absolute brick wall in the cage. Ben’s the goalie for Team 91 Carolina and he’s taking his talents to High Point University next year. He’s got crazy fast hands, isn’t afraid to eat  90-mph rockets, and knows how to fire a dime on the clear. When the game’s on the line, Ben’s the guy you want calling the shots and making the saves.

Had a chance to break it down with the one and only, Brody Mauro. Straight outta Long Island, Brody reps the Team 91 Cyclones 2030 squad, one of the top teams in the country. A fierce competitor, the ultimate playmaker, he’s the kind of attack man defenders dread.

Awesome conversation with the one and only Walker Wallace, captain of Cornell’s 2025 national champs after making the rare leap from goalie to long-stick middie. Now he’s back in Virginia, suiting up at tight end for UVA and carrying on a proud Cavalier legacy. From multi-sport captain in high school, to hoisting the trophy at Cornell, to taking on ACC football, Walker’s story is pure grit, adaptability, and raising the standard wherever he goes.

Had the chance to break it down with Eddie Zhang—better known as @fast_eddie_z. Although only in middle school, he’s making a big name for himself at the Faceoff with Next Level. Off the field, Eddie’s building his own lane by reviewing lacrosse gear online, helping players everywhere figure out what’s worth rocking. A grinder on and off the field. I sat down with Coach Andy Taibl, Associate Director of Athletics and Leadership Programming at St. Christopher’s in Richmond, VA. Prior to St. Chris, Coach Taibl spent 13 years at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, VA, where he served as Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs, Associate Dean of Students, Director of Athletics, Teacher and Coach.  He graduated from Washington College where he was Co-Captain of the 1998 NCAA III Lacrosse Championship team.

I sat down with the one and only Ben Wayer of the Waterdogs as we head into PLL Semi-Finals weekend.
