#9_Newspaper Interview: Somewhere Between Flower Crowns & Cold Plunges, Things Shifted
This episode drops you straight into a real, unfiltered moment: an interview during a self-leadership retreat in Sweden. At the core, it challenges the idea that self-leadership is something you figure out alone. Yes, you’re responsible for your life — your emotions, your actions, your direction — but growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in conversation, in reflection, in being mirrored by others.I share how I got into this work — not linear, not planned, but driven by curiosity, movement, culture, and a desire to live differently. From growing up around entrepreneurship, to traveling, to discovering Pilates and coaching, everything builds into a way of working that blends body, mind, and environment. The retreat itself became a living example of that philosophy:nature, movement, discomfort, play, cultural immersion — all used as tools to help people let go of what they carry, reconnect to their truth, and step into their “next chapter"we are going back to Sweden, August 2026 & we've still got some spots available: https://lenaheuel.com/sweden2026/Your timestamps:00:00 – What this episode actually isLive interview recording from your Sweden retreat + what listeners will get from it02:00 – The trap of self-leadership becoming isolatingWhy doing everything alone isn’t the goal04:30 – My philosophy: connection to self and environmentIntroducing the idea of “ecosystem” instead of solo growth07:00 – Why integration is the missing pieceGrowth vs. actually anchoring what you learn09:30 – Enter Sweden: culture, midsummer & curiosityLight, human moments that set the tone (flowers, traditions, playfulness)14:00 – Owning your truth (the flower crown metaphor)Not hiding, not comparing — fully expressing your version18:00 – My background (unconventional path)Entrepreneurial upbringing → travel → media → movement → coaching24:00 – The moment things clickedRealizing life doesn’t have to follow a “polished CV”28:00 – Why Pilates (and body work) mattersConnection between posture, openness, and receptivity32:00 – Coaching, mindset & inside-out livingHow perception shapes reality36:00 – Spirituality, energy & the unknownGrounded perspective: trust without losing yourself40:00 – The problem with always needing a planWhy presence gives you better answers than control44:00 – What actually happens on the retreatIntentions, flexibility, and adapting to the group47:00 – The rock exercise (letting go of weight)Physical metaphor for emotional baggage52:00 – Crossing the “threshold” into a new chapterRitual, symbolism, and trusting the process56:00 – Sharing your mission & owning your storyStanding on your “stage” and expressing your why59:00 – Cold plunge & facing fearThe story we tell vs. the reality we experience01:02:00 – What self-leadership really meansLeading your own ship: radical responsibility, no projection

#8_Pascale Blili: "Think a little less & feel more" - How she's built a village from the ground up
Tune into a unique episode in which I had the pleasure to interview such an iconic soul, Pascale Blili. She's the founder and owner of Du côté de chez Blili’s, in Tunisia - and happened to be an inspiration to many, without ever intending to be. I see a lot of myself in her, when I watched her walk through her premises, with such a grounded and open hearted energy, greeting her guests, and yet, also taking her time to go for a swim every morning. Listening to this episode & her french accent, will give you an idea of what I am talking about. What you'll learn in this episode: What it means to follow the breadcrumbs one step at a time vs. eating the whole bread all at once How Pascale decided to settle at that place where she's at right now Her advice to any founder who's aspiring to build a retreat center / community hub that's based on a strong bond between any guest What it means to live life in Tunisia despite all prejudice & (mis-)conception one might have about this countryKeen to explore this place & her energy in real life? Check out the links below to join us May 3rd-7th for 5 days together, connecting on an even deeper level with your partner - leaving refreshed & rejuvenated.Links: The venue: https://www.sejours-tunisie-blilis.com/ My Couples Retreat in May 2026, at that location: https://lenaheuel.com/tunisia2026/

#1_Why Integrity?
In this first episode of Lead with Integrity, I dive into what integrity really means—not just in a traditional sense, but as a force that impacts everything around us—our work, relationships, and society. After 30 years of life experience, I’ve realized how often we struggle to align our actions with our words, and why it’s so hard to live in full integrity with what we say we value. Through personal stories from my career and travels, I share my reflections on how we often disconnect from our true values due to fear, expectations, and external pressures. I created this podcast to explore these questions and have conversations with people who’ve worked to build lives rooted in integrity. I hope these conversations inspire you to live more authentically and aligned with your own values. Let's dive in and grow together!
