Hello everyone. I am doing this podcast episode about why grain is unhealthy for sheep, cattle and goats. You may find it controversial, but it’s the truth. A lot of people give grain to goats, sheep and cows. They don’t need all that stuff they just need grass and whatever safe and edible vegetation they can browse or grays out on the pasture. A small amount of sunflower seeds in the morning might be OK or better yet sunflower sprouts. If you want your animals to be healthier, try letting them eat more natural foods that they usually eat. Grain is natural yes but it’s not what they need. When I say natural foods that they usually eat, I mean, grass or hay or some sort of sprouts or other vegetation that they could eat. Grain is a natural food, but it’s more for people and chickens and turkeys and quail. Grain in a pig’s diet is OK in moderation. They should be mostly on the grass fed diet.

God is amazing. He has gotten us through so many times. We believe about the God head. Father, son and spirit. God, the father sent his son Jesus for us. It’s sad that he had to go through that pain but he is our redeemer. He is the king of Kings. My motto is trust in father God, for he will bring you through. As long as you lean on him, he will help you through the bad times.

In this episode, I talk about homesteading on a sailboat. That’s what I would do if possible. If I had a sailboat that was big enough say about 80 feet I would do it. Then again if I had my special farm bag that I joke about sometimes I’ll be able to do that quite easily. Farm bags aren’t real though so all I can do is dream when it comes to that. But if I did have a sample I would be able to raise hopefully a few quail and a couple of chickens. The small bantam chickens.
