This Piece, REGRETS" is based on: To "Search Out" is the meaning of this RICARCERE, expressed in musical counterpoint. I was "Searching Out" and was inspired by this: The Australian palliative care nurse Bronnie Ware interviewed scores of people in the last 12 weeks of their lives, she asked them their greatest regrets. The most frequent, published in her book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying (2011), were: The Top Five Regrets Of The Dying 1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me; 2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard; 3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings; 4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends; and 5. I wish that I had let myself be happier. ------------------------------ Something to think about... before we are all gone? ps.
